Sent to the wrong address? Why transfers can’t be undone
In short
- A confirmed transfer on Solana is final. Finchb can’t reverse it, and nobody else can.
- Only whoever controls the receiving address can send it back: an exchange for its own addresses, a person for theirs.
- Next time: paste instead of typing, check the first and last characters, and save the address as a contact.

How to avoid it next time
- Use Paste or Scan instead of typing an address.
- Before Review & send, compare the first and last four characters with the address you meant.
- After a transfer tap Save as contact. Next time one tap on the name is enough.
- For a large amount, send a small test first.
