Finchb Whitepaper

A web wallet for the Solana network with products under one roof: how it works, conditions, fees, records, risks and user protection at a glance.

Version 1.0Last updated: October 15, 2026

Finchb is a web wallet for the Solana network with products under one roof. The application runs in the browser without installation and can be added to the home screen as an app. An account is created with a single click, without an email address; it comes with its own Solana wallet and twelve recovery words, which the user can export at any time after a fresh confirmation and use in other wallet apps. Wherever Finchb sets conditions (rates, factors and fees), the app displays them before every deposit and every purchase. Packages and positions with a fixed term keep the values set when they were opened; for flexible balances and adjustable return rates, a change applies from the moment it takes effect, never retroactively. Fixed returns are payment commitments by Finchb; their amount is set in advance, and Finchb pays them from the earnings Finchb generates. This whitepaper explains the core principles, the wallet, the products, opportunities and risks, fees, public records and user protection. Currently offered: Grid Bot, Meme Radar, Prediction, Solana Bird, Swap, buy links, and Finchb Partner.

A public transactions page lists the products’ entries with masked addresses and, for on-chain entries, a link to the blockchain record; a public Telegram channel also announces entries. Anyone can independently verify the linked on-chain records on the Solana blockchain; credits within a product are marked as internal and carry no such link.

The rates, factors, fees, minimum and maximum amounts in this document, and the examples calculated from them, reflect the current offer. They may change in the future, but never retroactively; on flexible balances, a change applies from the moment it takes effect. Freely chosen example values serve only as illustrations. The conditions that apply are those the app displays before each purchase or deposit.

What this is about

Introduction

Finchb is a web wallet for the Solana network that brings a personal account, the user’s own crypto assets and a range of products together under one roof. This whitepaper explains how the wallet and the products work, on what conditions they are used and what opportunities and risks they involve.

Purpose and how to read it

This document describes Finchb as a whole: the wallet as the common foundation, the products built on top of it, and the rules that govern deposits, returns, fees and payouts. It is intended for people who already use Finchb as well as for those who are interested and would like a complete picture before making a decision. No prior knowledge of blockchains is assumed; technical terms are explained in the text and also summarized in the “Glossary”. Each chapter is written so that it can be understood on its own.

The whitepaper is updated continuously. It describes only the products that Finchb actually offers at present; products that are not offered do not appear here. Currently offered: Grid Bot, Meme Radar, Prediction, Solana Bird, Swap, buy links, and Finchb Partner. When a new product is added, it is included in this document as soon as it becomes available.

Nor are the conditions in this document – rates, factors, terms, minimum amounts and fees – fixed printed values; they follow the current offering. The worked examples use the same current values unless an example is expressly marked as a freely chosen illustrative value, and they show how a product works. They do not, however, replace what the user sees in the app before each purchase or deposit.

What the app shows is what counts

Before every purchase and every deposit, the app shows the applicable conditions. The conditions displayed at the moment of confirmation apply. Packages and positions with a fixed term keep the values set at the time of purchase; for flexible balances and ongoing returns without a fixed end, a change applies from the moment it takes effect, including to existing holdings, and never retroactively.

The whitepaper is a description of Finchb and its products, not investment or tax advice. Supplementary documents and further notes are collected in “Notes and References”. Finchb answers questions about this document at support@finchb.com.

The starting point

Crypto assets have long ceased to be a topic for specialists alone, yet getting started remains laborious for many people. Even the first step, setting up a personal wallet, calls for decisions whose consequences are hard to judge at that point. Terms such as address, network, token account or network fee are often taken for granted without being explained. People who feel unsure at this stage either give up or leave the decision to others. Both run counter to the core idea of crypto assets: control over one’s own assets.

This is especially evident with the recovery words. They are the key to a wallet and therefore both its greatest strength and its greatest hurdle: whoever loses them loses access, and whoever passes them on gives up control. Many applications barely explain what these words are for and why they must never be shared. The result is words jotted down carelessly, or a feeling of being overwhelmed that shapes every later encounter with crypto assets.

On top of this come costs that are hard to see through. Network fees, service fees, exchange-rate spreads and payout fees appear in different places and are often difficult to add up in advance. It becomes even harder with offers that hold out the prospect of returns. It often remains unclear where a return comes from, whether it fluctuates, when it is paid and under what conditions it may change. Such vague promises make a sober weighing of opportunities and risks more difficult.

Finally, the use of crypto assets is often spread across many separate applications. One serves for sending and receiving, a second for exchanging, a third for an offer that pays returns, a fourth for a game. Each stop brings its own accounts, its own interfaces, its own fees and its own risks, and every transfer between them increases the chance of a mistake. Because blockchain transactions cannot be reversed, even a single incorrectly copied recipient address can have permanent consequences.

The Finchb approach

Finchb addresses these hurdles with a few clear building blocks that run through every part of the offering. An account is created with one click and without an email address; it comes with its own Solana wallet and twelve recovery words based on a widely used standard, and all products build on this wallet. Before every purchase and every deposit, the app shows the applicable conditions; fixed returns are payment commitments by Finchb whose amount is set in advance and which Finchb pays from the earnings Finchb generates. The products’ entries appear on a public transactions page and in a public Telegram channel; where they take place on the blockchain, anyone can verify them on the Solana blockchain independently of Finchb. Recovery words and the private key can be exported at any time after a fresh confirmation, so the wallet is not tied to Finchb. Finchb charges no service fee for sending and receiving. The chapter “Vision and Core Principles” describes these principles in detail.

This approach also includes openness about risks: crypto assets can lose much of their value, blockchain transactions are irreversible, and there is no deposit insurance. For this reason, this whitepaper explicitly sets the risks against the opportunities for every product into which the user deposits funds.

Structure of the document

The whitepaper moves from the general to the specific. It begins with the guiding ideas on which Finchb is based, followed by the wallet as the common foundation and the principle by which all products work. Next come the products that have a chapter of their own, followed by the overarching topics: transparency, fees, security and privacy; the outlook, the glossary and the notes and references conclude the document.

The chapters on products into which the user deposits funds largely share the same structure, so that they are easy to compare. Each begins with an overview, then explains how the product works, works through examples and describes deposits, payouts and fees. At the end come an assessment of whom the product suits and a comparison of what can really be earned and what is really at risk. Product chapters appear only while the respective product is offered.

What Finchb stands for

Vision and Core Principles

Finchb follows a small number of clearly stated principles that apply to the wallet and to the products. This chapter describes the vision behind them and explains what each principle concretely means for the user in everyday use.

The vision

The vision of Finchb can be summed up in a single sentence: handling crypto assets should be as clear and comprehensible as handling an ordinary account, without obscuring the properties that set crypto assets apart from a bank account. To this end, Finchb brings a web wallet for the Solana network and the products on offer together under one roof, all of them used from the same account. The vision does not describe a distant end state; it is a standard against which every feature, every condition and every piece of text must be measured.

Using crypto assets without guesswork: an account in one click, conditions that are fixed in advance, and records that anyone can check for themselves.

Six core principles follow from this vision. They apply not only to individual products but to the entire offer, from the wallet to every product and on to the public records. The following overview summarizes them; the other sections of this chapter explain each principle in detail.

The core principles at a glance
Core principleWhat it means for the user

Fixed conditions in advanceRates, factors and fees are shown in the app before every purchase or deposit; the values displayed there are what counts.
Public recordsEntries from the products appear publicly, with on-chain entries linked to their blockchain record.

Open about risksEvery product into which funds are deposited is described with its opportunities and, in equal detail, with its risks.

Ready to start at once

The first contact with Finchb should not be an obstacle. An account is created with a single click, without an email address and without a form. With the account, the user immediately receives a fully functional Solana wallet and twelve recovery words based on a widely used standard. This allows the user to receive funds, send assets and use the products on offer right away, without having to provide any personal details to Finchb.

Finchb runs in the browser without installation; the chapter “The Wallet” describes how it can be added to the home screen as an app and which languages and display options are available.

  1. Create an account

One click is enough, and no email address is required. From the start, the account contains its own Solana wallet.

  2. Write down the words

The twelve recovery words are written down offline and shared with no one; they allow the wallet to be opened again later.

  3. Receive funds

The wallet’s own Solana address is available right away, also as a QR code. Incoming crypto assets appear in the wallet once the network has confirmed them.

An email address, a password and two-factor authentication via an authenticator app are optional and can be added at any time; the chapter “Security and User Protection” describes which layers of protection exist and when security emails are sent.

Fixed conditions in advance

Anyone who puts funds into a product should know beforehand what they are getting into. For this reason, the app shows the applicable conditions before every purchase and every deposit: rates, factors, terms and fees. The conditions stated in this whitepaper follow the current offer; freely chosen example values serve illustrative purposes only.

At Finchb, fixed returns are payment commitments. Their amount is set in advance; Finchb pays them from the earnings Finchb generates. This distinguishes them from promises whose amount only emerges after the fact from an uncertain outcome: the user knows the promised figure before buying or depositing, not afterwards. A commitment nevertheless remains a commitment by Finchb and is not protected by any deposit insurance.

Conditions may change in the future, but never retroactively. Active packages and positions with a fixed term keep the values set at the time of purchase until they end. Where a product works with a flexible balance or an ongoing return without a fixed end rather than with fixed packages, a changed rate applies from the moment of the change, including to existing holdings, but never to the period before it. Returns already credited therefore remain unaffected.

Even if a product is no longer offered, the conditions accepted at the time of purchase continue to apply to active packages and positions; the chapter “The Product Principle” describes the details.

Public records

At Finchb, trust should rest not on claims but on records that can be verified. A public transactions page lists the entries for the products on offer with type, amount, time and a masked wallet address, of which only the first four and the last four characters are visible. On-chain entries carry a link to the public blockchain record; credits within a product are marked as internal and carry no such link. In addition, a public Telegram channel announces entries with a link to the record and a receipt image. Names and email addresses are not published. Anyone can verify the linked blockchain records on the Solana blockchain independently of Finchb. The chapter “Transparency” describes how this verification works and which details are deliberately not published.

Freedom without lock-in

A user should use Finchb because it is useful to them, not because switching would be cumbersome. The twelve recovery words follow a widely used standard and also work in other wallet apps. Recovery words and the private key can be displayed and exported at any time after a fresh confirmation. Conversely, an existing wallet can be imported into Finchb with its recovery words or its private key.

A balance in the wallet is not tied to Finchb either. It can be sent to an address on the Solana network at any time; the section “Clear fees” describes the costs involved. Every transfer from the wallet is executed only once the user has confirmed it in the app. Payouts from the products go back to the wallet assigned to the respective transaction, where they are once again freely available.

Freedom does not mean, however, that every product can be left at any time without consequences. Where a product has a fixed term, that term is set in advance, and an early exit involves a deduction, forgoing the return, or both. Some purchases are also final. The respective product chapter describes such restrictions in detail.

Clear fees

Fees should be neither hidden nor surprising. Finchb therefore draws a clear distinction between the network fee and a service fee. The network fee of about 0.000005 SOL is charged by the Solana network itself; it goes to the network and not to Finchb. Finchb charges no service fee for sending and receiving, and using the wallet costs nothing beyond the fees of the network; if the recipient does not yet have a token account for a token, the sender also pays the network’s one-time account rent.

The app displays every fee that Finchb charges for a product before the purchase or deposit; the respective product chapter states it with its current value. In this way, the user knows the fees involved before every step.

For payouts from the products, Finchb generally covers the network fee; where this is not the case, the respective product chapter expressly describes the exception. An overview of all fees can be found in the chapter “Fees at a Glance”.

Open about risks

A whitepaper that described only opportunities would be incomplete. For this reason, for every product into which the user deposits or stakes funds, this document sets out the risks alongside the opportunities, in equal detail and in the same place. Overarching fundamental risks such as price losses, the irreversibility of blockchain transactions and the absence of deposit insurance are summarized in the chapter “Notes and References”.

Finchb provides neither investment advice nor tax advice. The descriptions in this whitepaper are intended to enable the user to decide independently whether, and to what extent, a product is a good fit. This includes the principle of committing only funds whose loss or temporary lock-up the user can bear.

The foundation of every account

The Wallet

Every Finchb account begins with a full-fledged Solana wallet. Through it, the user receives, manages and sends crypto assets, and it is the starting point for using all products. This chapter describes how an account is created, which crypto assets are supported, what transfers cost and how the user can move the wallet elsewhere at any time.

An account in seconds

A Finchb account is created with a single click. The user does not need to provide an email address or fill in a form. Together with the account, the user’s own Solana wallet is created, with an address to which crypto assets can be sent right away. It comes with twelve recovery words that follow a widely used standard and can therefore also be used in other wallet apps. Getting started thus takes only a few seconds, without the user giving up the option of continuing to use the wallet elsewhere later on.

Everything else is optional and can be added later. If the user adds an email address and a password, these can also be used to sign in on other devices. In addition, two-factor authentication can be set up with an authenticator app, so that signing in requires a time-based code alongside the password. If an email address is on file, Finchb sends a security email about important changes to the account, for example when the password or the two-factor authentication is changed.

These layers of protection are deliberately kept optional. Anyone who uses the wallet on a single device and has carefully written down the recovery words can start immediately. Anyone who uses several devices or wishes to secure the account further can add an email address, a password and a second factor later. The chapter “Security and User Protection” describes which steps require a fresh confirmation and when security emails are sent.

Supported crypto assets

The wallet supports SOL, the currency of the Solana network, as well as USDC and other SPL tokens. SPL is the token standard of the Solana network; tokens following the newer Token-2022 standard are supported as well. Besides the two common assets SOL and USDC, the user can therefore receive and send many other tokens issued on Solana. The wallet presents the balance of each crypto asset in a clear overview.

For verified tokens, the wallet displays prices and logos, so that the user can gauge the value of the balance at a glance. Tokens that are not verified appear in a separate list of their own. This separation has a practical reason: on an open blockchain, anyone can issue a token and send it to any address, including under names that are confusingly similar to well-known assets. The separate list helps to tell unknown tokens apart from established ones.

Not every token can be used without restriction. The Token-2022 standard permits extensions that change how a token behaves, for example transfer fees that are withheld on every transfer, or freezes that can prevent transfers. Finchb may reject tokens with certain of these extensions. Which crypto assets the individual products accept is described in the chapter on each product.

Sending and receiving

For receiving, the wallet displays its Solana address, also as a QR code. The user can copy the address and pass it on, or the sender scans the code with a wallet app. Finchb charges no fee for receiving; the network fee of the transfer is borne by the sender. Incoming crypto assets go directly to the user’s own Solana address and appear in the wallet once the network has confirmed them.

Sending incurs the network fee of the Solana network, about 0.000005 SOL per transfer. This fee goes to the network and not to Finchb; Finchb charges no service fee of its own for sending. One particularity of Solana concerns tokens: each token is held in a separate token account with an address of its own. If the recipient does not yet have a token account for the token being sent, the sender pays the network’s one-time account rent for it.

  1. Choose the crypto asset

In the wallet, the user chooses the crypto asset to be sent, such as SOL, USDC or another token.

  2. Set the amount

The user enters the amount to be sent.

  3. Enter the recipient

The recipient’s Solana address is typed in or pasted and should be checked carefully before confirming.

  4. Review and confirm

The transfer is executed only once the user confirms it in the app.

  5. Final

The network processes the transfer. From this moment on, it can no longer be reversed.

Transfers on a blockchain are final. A transaction that has been sent can neither be recalled nor undone, not even by Finchb. The user alone is therefore responsible for the correctness of the recipient address. It is advisable to check the address carefully before every confirmation, especially if it was copied from a message or an unfamiliar source.

Recovery words and export

The recovery words are the master key to the wallet. Anyone who knows them can restore the wallet in another wallet app and take control of all the crypto assets it holds. Special rules therefore apply to them: the user should write them down offline, never share them and never enter them on unfamiliar websites. The same applies to the private key, which opens the wallet just as completely.

The user can display and export the recovery words and the private key at any time. Because this step has such far-reaching consequences, the app requires a fresh confirmation for it, even if the user is already signed in. The export costs nothing. In this way, the user can move the wallet to another wallet app at any time; the wallet itself is not tied to Finchb.

The wallet can be moved elsewhere at any time: its recovery words or its private key are enough to open it in another wallet app.

Conversely, an existing wallet can be opened in Finchb just as in any other wallet app, either with its recovery words or with its private key. This lets the user bring a wallet already used in another app to Finchb and access the products from there. Whether created or imported: transactions are executed only after the user has confirmed them in the app.

No words by email or message

Finchb never asks for the recovery words by email or message. Any such request is an attempt at fraud, no matter how genuine it appears. The words belong on paper, written down offline, and not in messages, emails or on unfamiliar websites.

Buying crypto assets

Anyone who does not yet own any crypto assets will find a buy page in the wallet with links to external providers. Purchase, payment, fees and identity verification take place entirely with the respective provider and under its terms. Which payment methods are available is likewise determined by the provider. Finchb is not a party to this purchase, earns nothing from it and sees no purchase data.

For the purchased crypto assets to arrive in the Finchb wallet, the user copies the wallet address and enters it at the provider as the receiving address. For USDC, the provider must send via the Solana network, so this network must be selected when buying. The buy page deliberately confines itself to the links and the user’s own address. Everything else is governed by the respective provider and its terms.

Exchanging with Swap

Swap exchanges crypto assets through an external trading partner and thereby connects the wallet with other networks. Many crypto assets from other networks can be exchanged into the wallet; the result is credited to the user’s own Solana address. Out of the wallet, Swap exchanges SOL and sends the result to an external address specified by the user. The exchange itself is carried out by the trading partner.

  1. Choose the direction

The user decides whether a crypto asset from another network is to be exchanged into the wallet, or whether SOL is to be exchanged out of the wallet and sent to an external address.

  2. Specify asset and amount

The amount must lie within the minimum and maximum amounts that the trading partner sets for the chosen crypto asset.

  3. Add the details

For an exchange out of the wallet, the user enters the external destination address, with a memo or tag where needed so that the payment can be matched. For an exchange into the wallet, the user can optionally provide a refund address.

  4. Review the offer

Before confirmation, Swap displays the rate; the trading partner’s spread is already included in it. The offer is valid only for a limited time.

  5. Send the amount and wait

For an exchange out of the wallet, the amount goes to the trading partner as soon as the user has confirmed the transfer in the app. For an exchange into the wallet, the user sends the amount from a wallet on the other network, together with the memo or tag shown where one is required. As soon as the amount has arrived, the trading partner carries out the exchange; how long this takes depends on the trading partner and the networks involved.

Swap is not available in some regions. For the trading partner’s region check, connection data is passed on to the trading partner. An overview of all fees can be found in the chapter “Fees at a Glance”.

In the browser and as an app

Finchb runs in the browser and does not need to be installed. On a smartphone as on a computer, opening the page is enough to use Finchb. Anyone who uses Finchb more often can add it to the home screen as an app; it then launches like an installed app and is technically a Progressive Web App (PWA). No detour via an app store is needed for this.

The interface is available in German and English, and the matching language is detected automatically. Light and dark themes are available, so that the wallet is as pleasant to use in daylight as it is in the evening.

What the wallet costs

Using the wallet costs nothing apart from the fees of the Solana network. The following table shows the costs in detail.

Wallet costs
ActionCost
Create an accountnone
Receiveno service fee; the sender bears the network fee
Sendnetwork fee of about 0.000005 SOL to the network, no service fee
Token to a recipient without a token accountadditionally, the network’s one-time account rent
Display or export the words and private keynone
Import an existing walletnone

The products may carry fees of their own; the app displays any Finchb fees before each purchase or deposit. They are explained in the chapters on the products and compiled in the chapter “Fees at a Glance”. The wallet itself remains unaffected by this: anyone who uses Finchb solely as a wallet pays only the costs of the network, that is, the network fee and, where applicable, account rent.

Rules shared by all products

The Product Principle

However different Finchb’s products may be, they are all used from the same account. The products into which the user deposits funds also share the same basic rules: the app shows the conditions before every purchase or deposit, and money moves between the user’s own wallet and Finchb along traceable paths. This chapter describes these shared rules; the details of each product follow in the respective chapters.

One account, several products

Finchb is first and foremost a wallet for the Solana network. The products that Finchb offers under the same roof build on this wallet. Currently on offer: Grid Bot, Meme Radar, Prediction, Solana Bird, Swap, buy links, and Finchb Partner. None of these products requires the user to open an additional Finchb account; everything is accessed from the existing Finchb account. The wallet remains at the center, because deposits start from it and payouts return to it.

The buy links lead to external providers; purchase and payment take place entirely there and under their terms, and Finchb is not involved in them. “The Wallet” describes the details.

Swap runs through an external trading partner and follows that partner’s terms: incoming assets come from other networks, and outgoing SOL goes to an external address specified by the user. “The Wallet” describes the details.

Which products appear in the app depends on the current offering; this document describes the same products.

Fixed conditions instead of market promises

Many offerings in the crypto space advertise returns that depend on market developments or trading strategies and can change at any time. Where a Finchb product provides for a fixed return, by contrast, that return is a payment commitment by Finchb whose amount is set in advance; Finchb pays it from the earnings Finchb generates (see “Vision and Core Principles”).

A fixed return at Finchb is a commitment, not a forecast.

The conditions displayed when the user confirms are the ones that apply; changes only ever take effect going forward and never retroactively. Each product implements this principle as follows:

  • Grid Bot: The daily rate applies to the entire flexible balance. If Finchb changes it, the new value applies from the moment of the change, including to existing balances; returns that have already accrued remain unaffected.
  • Meme Radar: The factor, the term and the deduction for an early exit are fixed per package at the time of purchase and remain unchanged until maturity.
  • Prediction: There is no fixed return here. The payout results from the pool settlement of the respective round, after deduction of a fee of 1% on all stakes.
  • Solana Bird: Level purchases are final. Finchb can adjust the return rate for the future, but never retroactively.
  • Finchb Partner: Commissions are fixed per booking at the rate in effect when they are booked; a change affects only commissions booked later.

Fixed conditions do not mean that there are no risks: a commitment in SOL loses value in euros or dollars when the SOL price falls, even if it is fulfilled in full, and fulfilling any commitment depends on Finchb. Every chapter on a product into which the user deposits funds weighs the risks against the opportunities; “Vision and Core Principles” describes the principle behind this.

Deposits and payouts

Between the user’s wallet and the products into which the user deposits funds, money always moves along the same path. A deposit is a transfer on the Solana blockchain from the user’s wallet to Finchb. The app prepares it, shows the amount and the conditions and executes it only once the user expressly confirms it. The network fee for this transfer is usually borne by the user, because the transfer is initiated from the user’s wallet. As soon as the transfer is confirmed on the network, Finchb allocates it to the chosen product.

  1. Review the conditions

Before the purchase or deposit, the app shows the return, term, fees and, where applicable, the permitted amounts of the chosen product.

  2. Confirm the deposit

The user confirms the transfer in the app. Only then is it executed from the user’s wallet to Finchb.

  3. Confirmation on the network

The transfer is confirmed on the Solana blockchain and can be publicly verified there. Finchb allocates it to the product.

  4. Active position

The balance, package or stake appears in the app together with the conditions that apply to it.

  5. Payout

Depending on the product, made automatically or at the user’s initiative, to the wallet assigned to the transaction.

When it comes to payouts, the products differ mainly in who initiates them. Depending on the product, either Finchb pays out automatically as soon as a defined event occurs, or the user initiates the payout, with a click in the app or by request. The following table summarizes the currency, term, return and payout method of the products.

As a rule, Finchb covers the network fee for a payout, unless something else is stated for the respective product. The products’ entries also appear on the public transactions page, with on-chain entries carrying a link to the public blockchain record. “Transparency” describes the details.

For the Grid Bot, the withdrawal fee of 1.5% and the network fee of 0.000005 SOL are deducted from every withdrawal.

For Solana Bird, the payout fee is currently 0%.

When commissions from the partner program are paid out, the network fee is deducted from the amount paid out; for USDC, the one-time cost of opening the USDC account is also deducted from the first payout.

Brief pauses during disruptions

During disruptions or maintenance, payouts may pause briefly. No balance is lost: automatic payouts and payouts already requested are processed afterwards, and a new payout by click is simply triggered again after the pause. “Security and User Protection” describes the details.

New and discontinued products

Finchb continuously develops its offering. A new product appears in the app as soon as Finchb offers it, and this whitepaper is then updated to describe it; the document contains no announcements of or commitments to future products.

Conversely, Finchb may stop offering a product. In that case, the conditions that the user accepted at the time of purchase continue to apply to active packages and positions. A package already bought therefore runs with its agreed values until its end, and the associated payouts are made as planned. The product’s description is then removed from the whitepaper, because the document describes only products on offer; this does not affect active packages and positions.

Individual values can also change within an existing product, such as a return rate, a fee or an amount range; the section “Fixed conditions instead of market promises” describes how such a change affects active packages, positions and balances. A summary of all fees in one place can be found in “Fees at a Glance”.

Daily return, available at any time

Grid Bot

The Grid Bot is a flexible balance in SOL that earns a fixed daily rate, which Finchb commits to paying. The return accrues from the moment the deposit is confirmed, is added to the balance every 24 hours and from then on earns a return itself. There is no lock-up: the user can withdraw all or part of the balance at any time.

Overview

The Grid Bot is Finchb’s product for an ongoing, freely available balance in SOL. The user deposits an amount of their choice from 0.01 SOL upwards and receives a fixed daily rate of 1.03% on it. There is no term, no notice period and no minimum holding period. The balance remains available at all times and can be moved back to the user’s wallet in full or in part.

The daily rate is a payment commitment by Finchb. Finchb sets it in advance and pays the return from the earnings Finchb generates. The user therefore knows the daily rate before depositing, rather than waiting for a result that only becomes apparent afterwards. The app displays the applicable conditions before every deposit.

The balance grows every day, and the user alone decides when to withdraw it.

How it works

Return from the first second

The return begins with the confirmation of the deposit on the Solana blockchain. From that moment on, it accrues by the second rather than waiting for the next full day. Further deposits increase the balance, and the return on them likewise accrues from their respective confirmation. In this way, every second in which an amount actually sits in the Grid Bot counts.

Daily compounding

Every 24 hours, the accrued return is added to the balance. The cycle starts with the first deposit and continues at regular intervals from then on. Once added, the return becomes part of the balance and from then on earns a return itself. This effect is barely visible on the first day, but it becomes clearly noticeable over weeks and months, because each new day builds on a slightly larger balance than the one before.

Changes to the daily rate

Finchb can adjust the daily rate. A change applies from the moment it takes effect, and from then on to all balances, including those deposited earlier. It never applies retroactively: the return accrued up to that point remains unchanged. Unlike products with a fixed term, the Grid Bot therefore does not lock in the daily rate for each deposit. This is the flip side of flexibility: the user is not bound, and neither is the daily rate for the future.

Worked examples

The following examples show how a deposit of 1 SOL develops at the current daily rate if the return is compounded every day and the user makes no withdrawals in between. They are based on the formula given and are rounded. The examples are calculated in SOL; what one SOL is worth in euros or dollars is not affected by this and may rise or fall over the same period.

Worked example: 1 SOL in the Grid Bot

Balance after n days = deposit × (1 + daily rate)^n

Paid out on a full withdrawal = balance × (1 − withdrawal fee) − network fee

Deposit
1 SOL
Daily rate
1.03%
Balance after 7 days
approx. 1.07 SOL
Balance after 30 days
approx. 1.36 SOL
Balance after 90 days
approx. 2.51 SOL
Withdrawn in full after 30 days, net of the fee and the network fee
approx. 1.34 SOL

Rounded values, assuming an unchanged daily rate and no interim withdrawals. The network fee for the withdrawal is 0.000005 SOL.

The formula shows the core of the product: the balance does not grow linearly, but with each compounded day by the same proportion of the balance at that time. After a few days, the difference from simple addition is small; after ninety days, it is significant. On 10 SOL, the first day alone brings a return of 0.103 SOL. For larger or smaller amounts, the return changes in the same proportion.

The last row of the example shows what actually arrives in the wallet after a full withdrawal. The withdrawal fee of 1.5% and the network fee are deducted from the 30-day balance. Anyone depositing for only a short time should keep this calculation in mind: the fee is charged on every withdrawal, while the return only builds up over time. The longer a balance remains in place, the smaller the share of the return taken up by the fee.

Deposits and withdrawals

The Grid Bot works exclusively with SOL. A deposit is a transfer on the Solana blockchain from the user’s wallet to Finchb, which the user confirms in the app; nothing is executed without this confirmation. The minimum amount is 0.01 SOL. The process from the first deposit to a withdrawal consists of a few steps.

  1. Choose the amount

In the Grid Bot, the user enters the desired amount in SOL, at least 0.01 SOL. The app shows the applicable daily rate and the withdrawal fee alongside it.

  2. Confirm the deposit

The transfer is executed only once the user confirms it in the app. It goes from the user’s wallet to Finchb and incurs the usual network fee.

  3. The return accrues

Once the deposit is confirmed on the blockchain, the return begins to accrue by the second and is added to the balance every 24 hours.

  4. Withdraw with one click

Whenever the user wishes, part or all of the balance can be withdrawn. The amount goes to the user’s active wallet, usually within about a minute.

Withdrawals are initiated by the user, at any time and without prior notice. The user can withdraw the entire balance or only part of it; the remainder stays in the Grid Bot and continues to earn the daily rate. The withdrawal fee and the network fee are deducted directly from the amount withdrawn, so the user does not have to transfer anything separately to cover them.

Deposits and withdrawals are transactions on the Solana blockchain and can be verified there independently. Entries for the products on offer also appear with a masked address on Finchb’s public transactions page; “Transparency” gives the details.

Brief pauses during disruptions

During disruptions or maintenance work, withdrawals may pause briefly. No balance is lost: it stays in the Grid Bot and continues to earn the daily rate, and after the pause the user simply triggers the withdrawal again with a click.

Fees

The fees of the Grid Bot are deliberately kept simple. A Finchb fee applies only on withdrawal; Finchb charges nothing for depositing, for holding the balance or for adding the return each day. In addition, there is the Solana network fee: on a deposit, the user pays it to the network as with any transfer; on a withdrawal, the network fee of 0.000005 SOL is deducted from the amount paid out.

Balance and daily compoundingNone–
Withdrawal1.5% of the amount withdrawnFinchb fee, deducted from the amount

The withdrawal fee is based on the amount withdrawn and is deducted directly from it. With several partial withdrawals, the fee and the network fee apply to each individual withdrawal. “Fees at a Glance” gives an overview of the fees for the wallet and all products on offer.

Who the Grid Bot suits

The Grid Bot suits users who intend to hold SOL anyway and want to earn a daily return on that amount without committing to a set period. Because there is no term, it is well suited to amounts for which it is not yet clear when they will be needed. There is no early exit with a deduction, because there is no end of term; only the withdrawal fee and the network fee apply.

  • Users who hold SOL over a longer period and want to earn a daily return on it.
  • Users who want access to their balance at any time and do not wish to commit to a term.
  • Users who want to start with a small amount from 0.01 SOL and top up later.
  • Users who prefer a fixed daily rate known in advance to a result that depends on the market.

The Grid Bot is less suitable for very short periods of a few days, because the withdrawal fee can exceed the return earned up to that point. Nor does it suit users who cannot or do not want to bear fluctuations in the price of SOL: the balance is denominated in SOL, and its value in euros or dollars follows the price. Anyone looking for a rate that stays unchanged for a fixed period should bear in mind that Finchb can adjust the daily rate for the future.

Opportunities and risks

The Grid Bot combines a fixed daily rate with full flexibility. The following comparison sets out what the user can realistically earn and what the user accepts in return. The general risks of crypto assets apply in addition: prices can fall sharply, transactions on the blockchain are irreversible, and there is no deposit insurance.

What can really be earned

  • A fixed daily rate of 1.03%, a Finchb payment commitment, set in advance.
  • A return from the confirmation of the deposit, accruing by the second and compounded every 24 hours.
  • The compounded return earns a return itself, so the balance grows by a slightly larger amount each day.
  • No lock-up: withdrawal at any time, in full or in part, usually within about a minute.
  • Start with as little as 0.01 SOL.

What is really at risk

  • The balance is denominated in SOL. If the price of SOL falls in euros or dollars, its value can decline despite the return.
  • Finchb can change the daily rate for the future; the change then also applies to existing balances, never retroactively.
  • Every withdrawal costs a fee of 1.5% plus the network fee; over a short period, this can exceed the return.
  • The return is a payment commitment by Finchb, paid from the earnings Finchb generates; it is not a deposit covered by deposit insurance.
  • During disruptions or maintenance, withdrawals may pause briefly; the balance stays in place, and after the pause the user simply triggers the withdrawal again with a click.

Finchb does not provide investment or tax advice. Whether the Grid Bot fits the user’s own goals is for the user to decide, based on the conditions the app displays before every deposit. The Risk Disclosure sets out the risks in detail.

Fixed factor, fixed term

Meme Radar

Meme Radar offers packages in SOL or USDC with a fixed term and a fixed factor. At the end of the term, Finchb automatically pays out the stake and the return to the wallet the deposit came from. An early exit is possible at any time, but it costs a fixed deduction from the stake, and the return is forfeited.

Overview

Meme Radar follows a clear basic idea: the user buys a package and commits an amount in SOL or USDC to it for a fixed term of 336 hours. At the end of the term, the user receives the stake back at a factor of 2.0×, that is, the stake plus 100% return. The factor, the term and the deduction for an early exit are shown in the app before the purchase and are locked in for the package.

The return on a package is a payment commitment from Finchb and is paid from the earnings Finchb generates. Its amount is fixed at purchase. What the user receives at maturity follows solely from the stake and the factor. This clarity is the core of the product: the amount in the package’s currency that is paid out at the end is known from the first day; for SOL packages, its value in euros or dollars can change with the price of SOL.

Unlike a flexible balance, the stake in Meme Radar is committed for the term. In exchange, the return per package is fixed from the outset and does not need to be tracked day by day. Anyone who wants access to the money before the end of the term can end the package at any time, but accepts a deduction in doing so.

How it works

The unit of Meme Radar is the package. Each purchase creates a separate package with its own amount, currency, factor, term and early-exit deduction. These values apply to the package unchanged until it ends. If Finchb later changes the conditions of the offer, this affects only packages bought afterwards; active packages keep the values that were locked in at purchase.

  1. Check the conditions

Before the purchase, the app shows the current factor, the term and the deduction for an early exit. Exactly these values later apply to the package.

  2. Buy a package

The user chooses SOL or USDC and the amount, and confirms the deposit in the app. The deposit is an on-chain transfer from the user’s wallet to Finchb.

  3. Wait for the term to end

During the 336 hours, nothing needs to be done. The package runs with its locked-in values, regardless of market conditions.

  4. Automatic payout

At maturity, Finchb automatically pays the stake times the factor to the wallet the deposit came from, with no fee and no further click.

During disruptions or maintenance, payouts may pause briefly. No balance is lost: payouts that fall due are processed after the pause, and an early exit is simply triggered again by the user after the pause.

Besides the regular end, there is the early exit. The user can end a package at any time during the term and then immediately receives 75% of the stake back. The remaining 25% is retained as a deduction, and the package’s return is forfeited entirely. The exit is therefore an emergency exit for cases in which the money is unexpectedly needed sooner, and not a route to the return.

Worked examples

The following examples are calculated with the current conditions. They show one package each in SOL and in USDC that runs until maturity, as well as a SOL package that is ended early. The calculation is the same in both currencies, because the factor and the deduction do not depend on the currency.

Worked examples

Payout at maturity = stake × factor (2.0×)

Amount returned on early exit = stake − deduction (25% of the stake)

Package of 1 SOL, payout after 336 hours
2 SOL
Package of 100 USDC, payout after 336 hours
200 USDC
Package of 1 SOL, ended early: amount returned
0.75 SOL
Package of 1 SOL, ended early: deduction
0.25 SOL

The values follow from the current conditions. What counts are the values the app displays at purchase, which are locked in for the respective package.

The early-exit example makes clear that ending a package early costs not only the return but also part of the stake. Anyone buying a package should therefore be able to do without the amount for the entire term. It should also be noted that all amounts are calculated in the package’s currency. For a SOL package, the amount of SOL is fixed, not its value in euros or dollars: if the price of SOL falls sharply during the term, the payout of 2 SOL may be worth less in euros or dollars than 1 SOL was at the time of purchase.

Deposits and payouts

Packages are available in SOL or in USDC. The payout is made in the same currency as the stake; there is no conversion between the currencies. Each package has a minimum and a maximum amount, which the app displays before the purchase; the following table summarizes the current minimum and maximum amounts.

Amounts per package
CurrencyMinimum amountMaximum amountPayout at maturity
SOL0.01 SOL1,000 SOLStake × factor (2.0×), in SOL
USDC1 USDC100,000 USDCStake × factor (2.0×), in USDC

The deposit is an on-chain transfer from the user’s wallet to Finchb and is executed only after the user has confirmed it in the app. The payout at maturity goes to the wallet the deposit came from; the same applies to the amount returned after an early exit. The user does not need to provide an address for this, because each package remains assigned to the wallet it was paid from. Like all product entries, Meme Radar entries appear with a masked address on the public transactions page (see “Transparency”).

The offer may be sold out; no new packages can then be bought for the time being. Nothing changes for active packages: they keep the conditions locked in at purchase and are paid out as intended at maturity.

Fees

No fee is charged at maturity. Finchb also covers the network fee of the payout, so that the stake and the return arrive in full. At purchase, the buyer pays the network fee of the deposit, about 0.000005 SOL; it goes to the Solana network, not to Finchb. For USDC packages, the network’s one-time account rent for a token account may also apply.

Beyond that, costs arise only in the case of an early exit. The deduction amounts to 25% of the stake and is retained immediately when the rest of the stake is returned; in addition, the package’s return is forfeited. Anyone who lets a package run until maturity therefore bears only the network costs at purchase.

Costs visible before purchase

The app shows the factor, the term and the deduction before every purchase. “Fees at a Glance” gives an overview of the fees of all products.

Who Meme Radar suits

Meme Radar suits users who can spare an amount for the entire term and value a fixed target date with a known payout amount. The product requires no ongoing attention: after the purchase, nothing needs to be done until maturity, and the payout arrives on its own. Those who prefer a clearly defined factor to open market prospects will find a simple, easy-to-follow calculation here.

Meme Radar is less suitable for money that may be needed before the end of the term. An early exit costs 25% of the stake and the entire return; the package size should therefore be chosen so that an exit does not become necessary. Those who want to get to know the product first can start with a small package from 0.01 SOL or 1 USDC and follow the whole process once, through to the automatic payout.

The choice of currency is also a deliberate decision. With a SOL package, the user bears the price risk of SOL over the term, because the stake and the payout are calculated in SOL. Anyone who measures value in USDC can choose a USDC package, whose payout is likewise made in USDC. Finchb does not provide investment or tax advice; whether, and to what extent, a package fits the user’s own situation is for the user alone to decide.

Opportunities and risks

Meme Radar combines a fixed return known in advance with a fixed commitment of the stake. The two belong together and should be weighed together before the purchase. The following comparison summarizes what can really be earned and what is really at risk.

What can really be earned

  • Fixed factor 2.0×: stake plus 100% return, locked in per package at purchase.
  • Fixed term of 336 hours with a payout amount that is known from the first day.
  • Automatic payout at maturity to the wallet the deposit came from, with no fee and no action required.
  • Packages in SOL or USDC, starting at 0.01 SOL or 1 USDC respectively.
  • Exit possible at any time, with 75% of the stake returned immediately.

What is really at risk

  • The stake is committed for the entire term.
  • An early exit costs 25% of the stake, and the return is forfeited.
  • For SOL packages, the price of SOL may fall during the term; measured in euros or dollars, the payout may then be worth less than the stake at the time of purchase.
  • The return is a payment commitment from Finchb paid from the earnings Finchb generates; its fulfillment depends on Finchb, and there is no deposit insurance.
  • The offer may be sold out; no new packages can then be bought for the time being.
  • Risk DisclosurePrice risks, the irreversibility of transactions and the risks of the individual products in detail.

Short rounds on the SOL price

Prediction

Prediction is a product in which the user assesses, in short rounds, whether the price of SOL against the US dollar will rise or fall. All stakes in a round form a shared pool, which is divided among the stakes on the correct side according to a published formula. The result is final after every round, and the payout is made automatically.

Overview

Prediction combines a simple question with a traceable settlement: will the price of SOL against the US dollar be higher or lower at the end of a round than at its start? The user chooses one of the two sides, “up” or “down”, and stakes an amount in USDC on it. The rounds run on a fixed schedule, and each round lasts 5 minutes. A bet always applies to the next round that has not yet begun, so the opening price is not yet known when the bet is placed.

All stakes in a round flow into a shared pool. As soon as the closing price is fixed, the pool is divided, after deduction of the 1% fee, among the stakes on the side that was correct. The payout goes automatically to the wallet the stake came from; after placing the bet, the user does not need to do anything further.

This makes Prediction fundamentally different from offers with a fixed return. There is no commitment to any particular profit: how much a correct stake brings in depends on how the stakes in a round are distributed between the two sides. A stake on the wrong side is lost, provided that stakes were placed on the correct side; otherwise it is refunded without a fee (see “Special cases and refunds”). Prediction is designed for short-term assessments with a self-chosen stake.

How a round works

Every round follows the same sequence with fixed points in time. The following steps trace the path of a bet from choosing a side to the payout.

  1. Choose a side

In the app, the user chooses “up” or “down” and a stake between 1 and 100,000 USDC. The bet always applies to the next round. Once the user has confirmed it in the app, the stake is sent as a transfer from the user’s own wallet to Finchb.

  2. Cut-off

Bets for a round are accepted until 15 seconds before it begins. A bet that arrives too late does not take part in that round; its stake is refunded without a fee.

  3. Opening price

At the start of the round, the opening price of SOL against the US dollar is recorded. It comes from an independent price oracle.

  4. Closing price

One round later, that is, after 5 minutes, the closing price is recorded. If it is above the opening price, “up” was correct; if it is below, “down” was.

  5. Settlement

The round’s pool is settled: the fee of 1% is deducted, and the remainder is divided among the stakes on the correct side in proportion to their size.

  6. Payout

The payout goes automatically to the wallet the stake came from. The user does not need to request anything, and Finchb bears the network fee for the payout.

Anyone who misses the cut-off can bet on a later round. Stakes can only be placed in USDC. As with every transaction on the Solana network, the transfer of the stake incurs the network fee of about 0.000005 SOL. It is paid in SOL and goes to the network, not to Finchb; the wallet should therefore hold a little SOL in addition to the stake in USDC.

Settlement through the pool

The pool comprises all stakes in a round, on both sides combined. The fee of 1%, which the app shows before every bet, is deducted from this total first. The remaining amount is divided among the stakes on the correct side, in proportion to their size. Anyone who staked more on the correct side receives a correspondingly larger share.

The formula

Fee = pool × 1%

Payout = stake × (pool − fee) ÷ total of the correct side

Pool
all stakes in the round on both sides
Fee
1% of the pool
Total of the correct side
all stakes on the side that was correct
Payout
automatically to the wallet of the stake

The payout includes the stake itself. The profit is the difference between the payout and the stake.

Two consequences follow from the formula that matter when assessing a round. First, the possible profit depends on the distribution: the less that was staked on the correct side, the larger the share each correct stake receives, and the more that was staked, the smaller. Second, the exact payout is fixed only once acceptance for the round has closed, because further stakes can be added until then. When placing a bet, the user therefore knows the rules, but not the exact result.

The fee is calculated on the entire pool, not only on the winnings, and applies in every regularly settled round, regardless of which side was correct. “Special cases and refunds” describes when stakes are refunded without a fee.

Worked example

An example with round numbers shows how the formula works. In one round, a total of 1,000 USDC was staked, of which 600 USDC on “up” and 400 USDC on “down”. A user has staked 100 USDC on “up”; the calculation uses the current fee.

Worked example: pool of 1,000 USDC

Payout = 100 USDC × (1,000 USDC − 10 USDC) ÷ 600 USDC

Pool of the round
1,000 USDC
Of which on “up”
600 USDC
Of which on “down”
400 USDC
Fee (1%)
10 USDC
Remaining pool
990 USDC
Price rises: payout on 100 USDC
165 USDC
Of which profit
65 USDC
Price falls
no payout, the stake is lost

The actual payout depends on how much was staked on each side in the round in question.

If the price rises, the 600 USDC on “up” share the remaining pool of 990 USDC. The user accounts for one sixth of this side and therefore receives 165 USDC, that is, 65 USDC more than the stake. If the price falls, the stake of 100 USDC is lost. It then remains in the pool together with the other stakes on “up”, and after deduction of the fee the pool is divided among the stakes on “down”.

The example also shows why the distribution matters. Because more was staked on “up” than on “down”, the profit of a correct stake on “up” is smaller than it would have been on the less heavily backed side. A stake of 100 USDC on “down” would have received a larger share if the price had fallen, because fewer stakes share the pool there. In a balanced pool, in which equal amounts were staked on both sides, a correct stake returns about 1.98 times its amount.

Special cases and refunds

Not every round ends with a clear result, and not every transfer can take part in a round. Fixed rules, known in advance, apply to these cases. In most of them, the user receives the full stake back without any fee being charged.

  • Price unchanged: If the closing price equals the opening price, neither side was correct. The stakes are refunded without a fee.
  • Nobody on the correct side: If nobody staked on the side that was correct, the stakes are refunded without a fee.
  • Bet too late: If a bet arrives too late for its round, it does not take part in that round, and its stake is refunded without a fee.
  • Round canceled: If no valid price is available, the round is canceled, and the stakes are refunded without a fee.
  • Nobody on the opposing side: If all participants staked on the same side and were correct, they receive their stake back minus the fee of 1%.
  • Amount outside the range: Transfers below 1 USDC or above 100,000 USDC do not count as a bet and are sent back if they amount to 0.01 USDC or more.

Like payouts, refunds go back to the wallet to which the respective transfer is attributed. During disruptions or maintenance, payouts may pause briefly. No balance is lost: payouts and refunds are processed after the pause (see “Security and User Protection”).

Independent prices, clear attribution

The result of each round depends solely on two prices: the opening price at the start and the closing price one round later. Both come from an independent price oracle, that is, an external source of market prices, and not from Finchb itself. If no valid price is available, the round is not decided at anyone’s discretion but canceled, and the stakes are refunded.

The result of a round is determined by two prices from an independent source, the payout by a published formula.

The attribution of bets is just as clear. Each bet belongs to exactly one transfer, and it always belongs to whoever actually sent that transfer. A transfer therefore cannot count as a bet more than once, and a bet cannot be attributed to any other wallet. The payout follows the same rule and goes to the wallet the stake came from.

Stakes and payouts are transfers on the Solana blockchain; they can be verified there independently of Finchb and appear on the public transactions page. “Transparency” gives the details.

Who Prediction suits

Prediction is aimed at users who are interested in the short-term movement of the SOL price and want to express their assessment in short, clearly defined rounds. The rules are straightforward: two sides, a fixed round length and a published formula for dividing the pool. The result is fixed 5 minutes after the round begins, and any payout is made without further action. Because the stake can be chosen freely between 1 and 100,000 USDC, the user decides on the level of risk in each round.

Prediction is less suitable for users seeking a predictable return or wishing to grow a balance over a longer period. There is no commitment to any profit, and every lost round costs the full stake. Short-term price movements cannot be predicted reliably, and even a series of correct assessments says nothing about the next round. Anyone who takes part should only stake amounts whose loss they can readily bear, and should decide in advance how much they want to stake in total.

Opportunities and risks

Prediction offers the opportunity to get back more than the stake within a short time with a correct assessment. This is set against the risk of losing the entire stake in every lost round. Both sides are presented here side by side.

What can really be earned

  • A correct stake receives its share of the pool after deduction of the fee; with a balanced pool, this is about 1.98 times the stake.
  • The less that was staked on the correct side, the larger the share of each correct stake.
  • The result is fixed 5 minutes after the round begins, and the payout goes automatically to the wallet of the stake.
  • If the price is unchanged, the round is canceled or the bet arrives late, the stake is refunded without a fee.

What is really at risk

  • The stake in every lost round is lost in full.
  • Short-term price movements are unpredictable; even a well-founded assessment can be wrong.
  • Every regularly settled round costs the fee of 1% of the pool; if nobody staked on the opposing side, less than the stake remains after the fee.
  • The size of a possible profit is not yet fixed when the bet is placed, because further stakes can be added until the cut-off.
  • There is no payment commitment regarding a return; payouts result solely from the pool of the respective round.

Total loss possible in every round

The entire stake can be lost in any round. The conditions the app shows before every bet are authoritative. This chapter describes how the product works and does not constitute investment advice.

A game with real balances

Solana Bird

Solana Bird is a game with real balances in USDC or SOL. The first level is free; players buy higher levels one at a time and receive a daily return for them, which they collect from a pot. What a level earns follows fixed rules, not chance.

Overview

Solana Bird is the Finchb game. At its center is a bird that flies and, as it does, fills a pot; the player regularly collects the contents of this pot. Unlike in an ordinary game, the collected contents of the pot become a real balance in USDC or SOL, which the player can pay out to their Finchb wallet. The game is played with the Finchb account, like all Finchb products.

Every user has two separate game accounts in Solana Bird: one in USDC and one in SOL. Each time the game starts, the player chooses which of the two accounts to play with. The accounts are never converted into one another; deposits, level purchases, returns and payouts are all handled in the currency of the chosen account.

The game contains no element of chance. What a level costs, what it earns and how the pot fills follow fixed rules, which the game displays before every purchase. The return on purchased levels is a payment commitment from Finchb whose amount is set in advance and which Finchb pays from the earnings Finchb generates.

Not chance, but fixed rules: the pot fills with what the levels earn, and the player decides when to collect it.

The free level

Getting started with Solana Bird costs nothing. Level 1 is free and available in both game accounts. In the free level, the pot fills only while the player is actually playing, that is, while the bird is flying. Without active play, the pot does not fill in this level.

Per day, the free level earns at most about 1 USDC in the USDC account or 0.00667 SOL in the SOL account. Its main purpose is therefore to get to know the game and how it works without putting in any money of one’s own. The return is nonetheless a real balance in the account’s currency and can be paid out like any other return from the game.

Every collection in the free level is confirmed with a short check. From level 2 onward, the check no longer applies; the bird then flies on its own, and the pot fills even without active play. The step from the free level to the first purchased level is thus also the step from active play to regular collecting.

Buying higher levels

Players who want a higher return buy higher levels. Levels are bought individually, one after the other, and always in the currency of the game account the player is currently playing with. Level 2 costs 33 USDC in the USDC account. In the SOL account it costs 0.22 SOL; this price is derived from a reference rate that the game displays. The game shows the prices of all further levels before each purchase.

Level 2 earns about 1 USDC per day in the USDC account or 0.00667 SOL in the SOL account, provided the pot is collected in time.

  1. Choose a game account

At the start, the player chooses the USDC or the SOL account. All subsequent purchases and returns run in that currency.

  2. Deposit

A deposit into the game is a transfer on the Solana blockchain from the user’s wallet to Finchb. It is executed only once the user confirms it in the app, and the usual network fee applies.

  3. Buy the next level

The game displays the price and return of the next level. From level 2 onward, buying a further level first collects the open pot.

  4. Collect regularly

The player collects the pot regularly, before it reaches its capacity.

The purchase price comes back only through the return the level earns afterwards, and only if the player collects the pot in time.

Purchases are final

Once bought, a level can be neither refunded nor downgraded. A player who stops playing shortly after a purchase may not recover the price through the return.

Return and pot

The return rule

From level 3 onward, the return follows a simple rule: per day, the levels earn 3% of the total value of all levels purchased so far. Each new level raises this total value and with it the daily return. It follows that each level pays for itself in about 33 days, provided the player collects the pot in time.

The pot and its capacity

The return does not go straight into the balance but first into a pot. This pot fills over time, but only up to its capacity, which corresponds to a set number of hours for each level. Once the pot is full, it fills no further; any time beyond that is lost. Collecting more often, on the other hand, brings no additional return, because the pot only ever contains what has accrued since the last collection.

For the player, this means that what matters is not how often the pot is collected but that it is collected before it is full. A player who leaves the pot full for a long time forgoes the return for that time.

Worked example: return on the levels

Daily return from level 3 = total value of all purchased levels × 3%

Time until a level pays for itself ≈ 33 days

Values assume the pot is collected in time. The game displays the prices of higher levels before every purchase.

The example deliberately confines itself to level 2 and the general rule from level 3 onward. Using the prices the game displays before every purchase, the daily return of higher levels can be calculated independently with the formula. Finchb may adjust the return rates for the future, never retroactively.

Payouts

A balance in Solana Bird is a real balance in the currency of the respective game account. Payouts are made in real USDC or SOL to the player’s Finchb wallet. The player requests a payout in the game; after that, it is processed automatically. Payouts are possible from every level, including the free level.

A fee of 0% is charged for a payout. Finchb bears the network fee of the payout.

Deposits and payouts are transactions on the Solana blockchain that can be verified there independently and appear with a masked address on the public Finchb transactions page; “Transparency” describes the details. “Fees at a Glance” gives an overview of the fees of the wallet and of all products on offer.

Brief pauses during disruptions

During disruptions or maintenance, payouts may pause briefly. No balance is lost: payouts already requested are processed afterwards, and a new payout by click is simply triggered again by the player after the pause.

Who Solana Bird suits

Solana Bird suits players who enjoy a simple game and are willing to return regularly. The return of higher levels depends on the pot being collected in time; players who build the game into their daily routine get the most out of their levels. Because level 1 costs nothing, the game can first be tried out without spending anything.

  • Players who want to get to know the game for free first and decide later whether to buy levels.
  • Players who can drop by regularly and collect the pot before it is full.
  • Players who prefer fixed rules displayed in advance to an element of chance.
  • Users who want to play in either USDC or SOL without any amounts being converted.

Solana Bird is less suitable for players who want to be able to get a purchase price back when needed, because level purchases are final. Nor does it suit players who cannot collect for longer periods, because a full pot takes in no further return. Players using the SOL account should also bear in mind that the value of SOL in euros or dollars can fluctuate and fall sharply.

Opportunities and risks

Like every Finchb product, Solana Bird has two sides. The following comparison sets out what a player can realistically achieve and what the player accepts in return. The general risks of crypto assets apply in addition: prices can fall sharply, transactions on the blockchain are irreversible, and there is no deposit insurance.

What can really be earned

  • A free start: while actively playing, level 1 earns up to about 1 USDC per day in the USDC account or 0.00667 SOL in the SOL account.
  • From level 3 onward, a daily return of 3% of the total value of all purchased levels, which Finchb commits to paying.
  • Each level pays for itself in about 33 days if the pot is collected in time.
  • Fixed rules with no element of chance, and two separate game accounts with no conversion.
  • Payout in real USDC or SOL to the Finchb wallet, from every level.

What is really at risk

  • Level purchases are final: no refund, no downgrade.
  • A player who stops shortly after a purchase may not recover the purchase price through the return.
  • A return is earned only if the pot is collected in time; time with a full pot is lost.
  • Finchb may adjust the return rates for the future; the return is a payment commitment from Finchb paid from the earnings Finchb generates, not a deposit covered by deposit insurance.
  • In the SOL account, the value of the balance in euros or dollars follows the price of SOL.
  • Payouts carry a fee of 0% and may pause briefly during disruptions; payouts already requested are processed afterwards, and new ones are triggered again by the player after the pause.

Finchb does not provide investment or tax advice. Whether Solana Bird fits the user’s own goals is for the user alone to decide, based on the prices and rules the game displays before every purchase. The Risk Disclosure sets out the risks in full.

Referrals with permanent attribution

Partner Program

With Finchb Partner, the user recommends Finchb to others and receives commissions when referred friends use certain products. Every account newly created at Finchb through the user’s personal link remains permanently attributed to that user. Finchb pays the commissions from its own funds; the referred person incurs no additional costs.

Overview

Finchb Partner is Finchb’s partner program. It is aimed at users who want to recommend Finchb among friends and acquaintances or to an audience of their own. For this purpose, every account has a personal partner code and an associated link that the user can share. Anyone referred this way is called a “friend” below, and the referring user a “partner”. If a friend then uses one of the products that pay commissions, the partner receives commissions at rates that Finchb sets individually for each of these products.

Attribution of new accounts

Only accounts newly created at Finchb through a partner’s link are attributed to that partner; this includes a wallet imported into Finchb for the first time in the process. An account that already exists at Finchb cannot be attributed to a partner later. The attribution is permanent: it applies for life, meaning not just for a first purchase or a limited period, but for the entire time the friend uses Finchb. The program has exactly one level. Commissions are earned only from the activity of directly referred friends, not from accounts that these friends in turn refer.

No disadvantage for the friend

The attribution does not put the referred friend at any disadvantage. The friend uses the products on the same terms as any other user and pays nothing extra. The commissions are deducted neither from the friend’s stake nor from the friend’s return; they come entirely from Finchb’s funds. The partner program is therefore not a redistribution between users, but a reward that Finchb pays for successful referrals.

  1. Share the link

The partner shares the personal link, for example in a message or on a page of their own.

  2. Create an account

The friend creates a new account at Finchb through this link, with a new wallet or one imported for the first time, and is thereby permanently attributed to the partner.

  3. Use the products

When the friend uses one of the products that pay commissions, a commission is earned at the rate of the respective product.

  4. Credit the commission

The commission is credited to the partner in the currency of the purchase, at the rate that applies when it is booked.

  5. Payout with one click

Once the balance in a currency reaches the minimum amount of $5, the partner pays it out to their wallet with one click.

Commissions by product

Every product that pays commissions has its own commission rate and its own basis to which that rate refers. The following overview lists, for each of these products currently on offer, the current rate, the basis of the calculation and the currency in which the commission is credited. The explanations below the table describe the particulars of the individual products.

Commissions in the partner program

Solana Bird3%per level purchase by the friend, per game account up to the amount of the friend’s deposits into the gameUSDC or SOL, depending on the game account
Meme Radar2.5%per package purchased, based on the package amountSOL or USDC, same as the package
Grid Bot0.1%per day, based on the friend’s balanceSOL
Prediction0.125%per settled bet, based on the stake, whether the round is won or lostUSDC

In Solana Bird, the commission is earned when the friend buys a level. It amounts to 3% of the purchase price and is credited in the currency of the game account in which the purchase takes place. Per game account, level purchases count only up to the amount the friend has actually deposited into the game. The commission thus follows the money the friend really brings in.

With Meme Radar, the partner receives 2.5% of the amount of every package the friend buys. The commission is earned once, with the purchase, and is credited in the currency of the package, that is, in SOL or in USDC. The rate in effect at the time of purchase applies.

With the Grid Bot, the commission is ongoing. It amounts to 0.1% per day on the balance the friend holds in the Grid Bot and is credited in SOL. As long as the balance exists, the commission is added again every day. If the balance rises or falls, the daily commission changes in the same proportion.

With Prediction, the partner receives 0.125% of the stake of every settled bet of the friend, regardless of whether the friend wins or loses the round. The commission is credited in USDC. Bets that are refunded generate no commission.

Fixed per booking

Every commission is fixed at the rate in effect at the time of the respective booking and credited in the currency of the underlying purchase. If Finchb changes a commission rate, the new rate applies only to commissions booked after the change; commissions already booked remain unchanged. The rates stated in this document are the values currently in effect.

Worked examples

The following examples show which commission is earned from a friend’s typical activity. They use the current rates and round example amounts. The formula is the same for all products with a commission: the respective amount is multiplied by the product’s commission rate.

Worked example: commissions from a friend’s activity

Commission = amount of the purchase, stake or balance × commission rate

Friend buys level 2 in the USDC game account of Solana Bird
0.99 USDC
Friend buys a package of 100 USDC in Meme Radar
2.5 USDC
Friend holds 10 SOL in the Grid Bot
0.01 SOL per day
Friend stakes 100 USDC in Prediction
0.125 USDC

Rounded values at the current rates. The rate in effect at the time of the respective booking applies.

A commission from a single purchase or bet is booked once; every further eligible action of the friend generates a new commission. How much a partner receives in total therefore depends above all on how actively the partner’s friends actually use the products. There is no reward for merely creating an account.

Payout

Commissions accumulate separately by currency: commissions in USDC form a balance in USDC, commissions in SOL a balance in SOL. As soon as one of these balances reaches the minimum amount of $5, the partner can pay it out with one click. For USDC, the one-to-one ratio to the dollar applies; for SOL, the current exchange rate. The payout goes to the partner’s wallet.

A payout always covers the entire balance of the chosen currency; partial payouts are not possible. The network fee for the transfer is deducted from the amount paid out, so the partner does not have to send anything separately for it. On the first USDC payout, the one-time cost of opening the USDC account is also deducted from the amount.

Payout by currency
CurrencyPayable fromDeduction
USDC$5, at a one-to-one ratioNetwork fee; on the first payout, also the one-time cost of opening the USDC account
SOLEquivalent of $5 at the current exchange rateNetwork fee

Because the minimum amount is measured in dollars, the equivalent value of a SOL balance fluctuates with the price of SOL. Such a balance can therefore reach the threshold, or fall below it again, through a price movement alone, without any new commissions being added. A partner who leaves commissions in SOL untouched for a longer time bears the price risk of SOL until the payout.

Brief pauses during disruptions

During disruptions or maintenance, payouts may pause briefly. No balance is lost: payouts already requested are processed afterwards, and a new payout by click is simply triggered again by the partner after the pause.

Fairness and privacy

Referred friends are shown to the partner only as pseudonyms.

The partner program is meant to reward genuine recommendations; creating artificial accounts is therefore prohibited. This includes, for example, creating wallets solely for the purpose of triggering commissions.

Key points at a glance

  • Only accounts newly created at Finchb through the personal link are attributed, including with a wallet imported for the first time; the attribution applies for life and has exactly one level.
  • The referred friend pays nothing extra; Finchb bears the commissions from its own funds.
  • Commissions are fixed per booking at the rate then in effect and credited in the currency of the purchase.
  • Payouts are made with one click from $5 per currency, always covering the entire balance of that currency, minus the network fee and, on the first USDC payout, also the one-time cost of opening the USDC account.
  • Friends appear only as pseudonyms; artificial accounts are prohibited.

To take part, the partner does not have to deposit anything. At the same time, the partner cannot count on any particular level of commissions, because they depend on how actively the partner’s friends use the products, and Finchb can change the rates for future bookings. “Fees at a Glance” gives an overview of all fees for the wallet and the products on offer.

Evidence instead of claims

Transparency

At Finchb, trust is meant to rest on evidence that can be checked. This chapter describes which entries are publicly visible, how anyone can verify the on-chain entries among them on the Solana blockchain directly, and which details are deliberately not published.

The public transactions page

At the heart of transparency is a public transactions page. It lists entries from Finchb’s products and is open to anyone who wants to form their own picture of what actually happens. Each row describes a single entry using a few clearly defined details: the type of entry, the amount, a masked wallet address and the time. This makes it possible to see that deposits come in and payouts are actually made, without anyone having to rely on a statement from Finchb alone.

Details shown for each entry
DetailMeaning
Type of entryWhich transaction it is, for example a deposit into a product or a payout to a wallet.
AmountThe size of the entry in the crypto asset in which it was made.
Wallet addressShown masked: only the first four and the last four characters are visible.
TimeWhen the entry was made.
Blockchain recordFor on-chain entries, a link to the public record on the Solana blockchain; internal credits are instead marked as internal.

The page distinguishes between on-chain entries and internal credits. On-chain entries are transfers that actually took place on the Solana blockchain; they carry a link to the public blockchain record, through which each of them can be verified independently. Credits within a product, by contrast, arise without requiring a transfer on the blockchain. They are expressly marked as internal on the page and carry no link. This marking prevents an internal credit from looking like a blockchain record and shows at a glance which details can be checked externally and which cannot.

The Telegram channel

Alongside the transactions page, a public Telegram channel reports entries. Each message contains a receipt image for the entry concerned; messages about on-chain entries additionally carry a link to the blockchain record, while internal credits, as on the transactions page, have no such link. Receipt images and messages also contain an invitation link to Finchb. Anyone who uses Telegram can follow the channel and see new entries without having to open the transactions page separately. The channel is thus a second route to the public records and is particularly suited to keeping an ongoing overview.

The same applies to the channel: the blockchain record is what counts. The receipt image makes quick orientation easier but does not replace verification on the blockchain itself. Anyone wishing to take a closer look at a reported on-chain entry opens the link to the blockchain record in the message and compares the details as described in “Verifying entries independently”. In the channel, wallet addresses likewise appear only in masked form, just as on the transactions page.

Verifying entries independently

The records of on-chain entries are designed so that no one has to trust Finchb in order to verify them. On-chain entries are transactions on the public Solana blockchain, which exists independently of Finchb and can be viewed by anyone. Verification requires neither a Finchb account nor any special prior knowledge; it is enough to open the link to the blockchain record and compare the details with one another.

No one has to take Finchb’s word for what has happened on the blockchain: anyone can look it up for themselves.

  1. Open the transactions page

The public transactions page shows entries from the products on offer. Alternatively, a message in the Telegram channel can serve as the starting point.

  2. Find the entry

The entry in question can be recognized by its type, amount and time. Anyone looking for one of their own entries also compares the first four and the last four characters of the masked address with their own wallet address.

  3. Open the blockchain record

The entry’s link leads to the public record on the Solana blockchain. If an entry is marked as internal, there is no such record, because no transfer took place on the blockchain for it.

  4. Compare the details

The amount and the masked address on the page must match the details in the blockchain record; the time on the page is close to the one in the record but may differ slightly. In the record, the address is visible in full; its first four and last four characters correspond to the masked display. Anyone checking one of their own entries compares this full address character by character with their own wallet address, not only the first four and the last four characters.

This check confirms that a transfer of the stated amount actually took place. It is independent of Finchb, because the record is stored on the public Solana blockchain and remains visible there; moreover, transactions on the blockchain cannot be reversed. With payouts in particular, the user can thus establish directly that the amount paid out has arrived in the assigned wallet.

Noticed a discrepancy?

If the details of an entry do not match the blockchain record, the user can contact support@finchb.com. It helps to state the type of entry, the time and the link to the blockchain record.

Deliberate limits

At Finchb, transparency does not mean publishing everything. The public records are meant to show that entries take place. For this reason, the transactions page and the Telegram channel show wallet addresses only in masked form and publish neither names nor email addresses.

  • Full wallet addresses: on the transactions page and in the Telegram channel, only the first four and the last four characters of an address are visible.
  • Names and email addresses: they appear in none of the public records.

Where the account an entry belongs to has a personal partner code, the invitation link on its receipt images and messages carries that code. An account’s public entries can therefore be linked to one another; anyone who knows a user’s partner code or partner link can recognize that user’s public entries.

The blockchain itself, however, sets a limit. The Solana blockchain is public: anyone who opens the link to a blockchain record sees the full addresses of the wallets involved there. The masking therefore applies to the display at Finchb, not to the blockchain. Anyone who links a wallet address to their identity, for instance by sharing it publicly, should bear in mind that the transactions of this address on the blockchain are visible to everyone.

Equally important is what the records do not say. They document entries that have already taken place and make no statement about future payments. Fixed returns remain payment commitments from Finchb, and fulfilling them depends on Finchb. The chapter “Privacy in Brief” gives further information on the handling of data; the chapter “Notes and References” summarizes the general risks.

What costs what, and where

Fees at a Glance

At Finchb, costs arise at a small number of clearly named points. This chapter sets the network fees of the Solana network side by side with the costs of the wallet and Finchb’s fees for each product on offer, so that the user knows what to expect before every step.

Two kinds of costs need to be distinguished when using Finchb. The first is the network fee: every transfer on the Solana blockchain costs a small fee of about 0.000005 SOL, which goes to the Solana network and not to Finchb. The second is the service fee, meaning an amount that Finchb itself retains for a service it provides. Finchb charges such a fee only at the points named in this chapter.

Upfront
before every purchase and every deposit

Who bears a network fee depends on the direction of a transfer. When the user sends crypto assets or deposits into a product, the user bears the network fee of that transfer, because it is sent from the user’s own wallet. For payouts from the products, Finchb covers the network fee unless stated otherwise for the respective product. If a recipient does not yet have a token account for a particular token, the network’s one-time account rent also applies; when sending from the wallet, the sender pays it. This account rent is not a Finchb fee either.

The following table summarizes which costs arise in the wallet and in the products on offer. It contains only the products Finchb currently offers and states the values that apply at present. Besides fees in the narrower sense, it also lists, where they exist, costs that follow from a decision made by the user, such as ending early. Details can be found in the chapter on the respective product or in the chapter “The Wallet”.

Purchase from external providersPayment, fees and identity verification take place exclusively with the respective provider under its own terms. Finchb is not a party to the purchase and earns nothing from it.

Percentage fees always refer to the quantity named in the table, such as the amount paid out or the stake. If a fee is deducted from the amount paid out, correspondingly less arrives in the wallet; if Finchb covers the network fee, it is not deducted from the amount paid out. Because the network fee is charged per transfer, several small transfers incur it several times. Bundling deposits and payouts therefore keeps these costs low.

Fees and conditions may change in the future, but never retroactively. “Vision and Core Principles” describes how a change affects active packages, positions and flexible balances.

Current fees in the app

Before every purchase and every deposit, the app displays the applicable fees and conditions, and transactions are executed only once the user confirms them in the app. The values displayed when the user confirms the purchase or deposit are the ones that apply.

Protective layers and the user’s own diligence

Security and User Protection

The protection of an account rests on two pillars: the protective layers that Finchb offers, and the care taken by the user. This chapter describes how the user can secure an account further, which steps require a fresh confirmation, when Finchb sends security emails and why payouts may pause briefly during disruptions. It closes with a summary of the rules every user should follow.

Protecting the account

A Finchb account is created with a single click and without an email address; the chapter “The Wallet” describes the details. Which protective layers are added beyond that is for the user to decide. Finchb offers two optional building blocks for this: a password that, together with an email address, also lets the user sign in on other devices, and two-factor authentication with an authenticator app. Both can also be set up later, once the account is already in use.

Two-factor authentication adds a second, independent proof to the password. At sign-in, the password alone is then no longer enough; a time-based code from the authenticator app is required as well. If a password falls into the wrong hands, for instance through a fake website or because it was also used elsewhere, an attacker still lacks the second factor. For every user who has stored an email address and a password, this second factor is therefore an obvious addition.

What matters here is the order of precedence among the protective layers. The password and the second factor protect sign-in with an email address; the twelve recovery words and the private key, by contrast, open the wallet on their own, in other wallet apps as well. Anyone who knows them needs neither the password nor the second factor. Careful handling of the words therefore remains the most important protective measure, regardless of which optional layers are set up.

No password and no second factor replace care with the twelve words: whoever knows them controls the wallet.

Confirming consequential steps

Some steps have such far-reaching consequences that an existing sign-in alone is not sufficient. These include showing the recovery words, exporting the private key and changing the password. For each of these steps the app requires a fresh confirmation, even if the user is already signed in. This way, such steps are not triggered in passing but deliberately and calmly.

Steps and the confirmation they require
StepWhat the app requires
Showing the recovery wordsA fresh confirmation, even with an existing sign-in
Exporting the private keyA fresh confirmation, even with an existing sign-in
Changing the passwordA fresh confirmation; if an email address is stored, a security email follows
Sending a transfer or making a deposit into a productExecuted only after the user has confirmed the transaction in the app

The chapter “The Wallet” explains under “Sending and receiving” why a careful check before this confirmation is worthwhile.

The fresh confirmation is deliberately designed as a brief hurdle, not as a barrier. It does not prevent the user from showing the words at any time, exporting the key and taking the wallet to another app.

Security emails

If the user has stored an email address, Finchb sends a security email whenever important changes are made to the account. This applies, for example, to a change of the password or of two-factor authentication. Such messages serve as feedback: if the user made the change, they merely confirm what the user already knows. If the user did not make it, they are an early warning sign that another person may have access to the account.

In that case the user should not wait but contact support@finchb.com immediately and describe which change was reported. Without a stored email address, Finchb cannot send such notices. This is another reason why storing an email address and a password is worthwhile when the user signs in on several devices or wishes to secure the account further.

Genuine emails never ask for the words

An email from Finchb never asks for the recovery words to be entered or sent. Messages that request this are fraud attempts, even if the sender, logo and tone appear genuine. Links in unexpected messages should not be opened; it is better to go to finchb.com directly in the browser.

Pauses during disruptions

During disruptions or maintenance, payouts from the products may pause briefly. Such a pause is a precautionary measure for the duration of the disruption or maintenance. No balance is lost: automatic payouts and payouts already requested are processed afterwards, and a new payout by click is simply triggered again by the user after the pause.

For the user, a pause therefore means only a delay. It does not change the conditions that were displayed when the purchase or deposit was confirmed; it merely shifts the time of a payout. For questions about a delayed payout, Finchb can be reached at support@finchb.com.

What users can do themselves

Many attacks on crypto assets are aimed not at the technology but at people: fake websites, deceptively genuine messages or supposed offers of help. Against such deception, the user’s own diligence helps most, and it takes little effort. The following rules summarize what matters in everyday use.

  1. Write the words down offline

The twelve recovery words belong offline on paper, not in photos, note apps or messages. The sheet should be kept in a place where unauthorized persons cannot find it.

  2. Never share the words

Finchb never asks for the words by email or message. Whoever knows them controls the wallet; any request for the words is therefore a warning sign.

  3. Use only the genuine pages

The user should access Finchb only at finchb.com and on product pages whose address ends in .finchb.com, and should never enter the words on any other page, however trustworthy it may appear.

  4. Check addresses carefully

Before every transfer, the user checks the recipient address in full and not just its beginning and end. A transaction that has been sent cannot be recalled.

  5. Secure the account further

A user who adds an email address should choose a password that is used nowhere else and set up two-factor authentication. A stored email address is also what allows Finchb to send the security emails.

  6. Act at once on suspicion

An unexpected security email or unfamiliar activity in the account should be reported to support@finchb.com immediately.

These rules apply not only to Finchb but to every wallet on a blockchain. Transactions are final, and there is no deposit insurance that compensates for losses caused by fraud or mistakes. This makes it all the more important that the protective layers of Finchb and the diligence of the user work hand in hand. The chapter “Notes and References” describes further risks in handling crypto assets.

No mandatory details for the account

Privacy in Brief

Finchb can be used without an email address and without identity documents. This chapter summarizes the key principles for handling data. The Privacy Policy, referenced at the end of this chapter, is the binding and detailed description of how data is handled.

An account without an email address

An account at Finchb is created with one click and without an email address. In the process, the user receives a Solana wallet with twelve recovery words.

An email address and password as well as two-factor authentication are voluntary; whether to set them up is the user’s own decision. Together with a password, a stored email address is used to sign in on other devices, and security emails about important changes to the account are also sent to it. The chapters “The Wallet” and “Security and User Protection” describe the details.

Restraint and disclosure

For certain kinds of data, Finchb deliberately exercises restraint. Finchb does not request identity documents such as copies of ID cards or comparable proof. Finchb does not store card or bank details; deposits into the products are transfers on the blockchain from the user’s own wallet. Finchb does not use external analytics or advertising services, so usage behavior is not passed on to such services.

Principles at a glance
AreaHow Finchb handles it
AccountCreated without an email address; email address, password and two-factor authentication are voluntary.
Identity documentsNot requested.
Card and bank detailsNot stored.
Analytics and advertisingNo external analytics or advertising services are used.
Public recordsWallet addresses appear masked; the linked blockchain record shows them in full.
BuyPurchase, payment and identity verification take place at the external provider, where the user pastes in the wallet address themselves; Finchb sees no purchase data.
SwapThe external trading partner receives the details needed for the exchange, such as crypto assets, amounts, addresses and, where applicable, a refund address, as well as connection data for its region check.

Public records

Names and email addresses do not appear in any public record. The chapter “Transparency” describes how the public records are structured and how they can be verified.

The Privacy Policy

This chapter is a summary and does not replace the Privacy Policy. The Privacy Policy describes in detail which data Finchb processes, what it is used for, to which recipients it goes and how long it is stored. The user can direct questions about privacy to support@finchb.com.

  • Privacy PolicyWhich data Finchb processes, for what purpose, to which recipients and for how long.

How Finchb continues to evolve

Outlook

Finchb is developed continuously. This chapter describes how the offering and this document change, in which languages Finchb is available and why this document deliberately contains no dates or announcements.

Ongoing development

Further development can affect how Finchb is used as well as the scope of the offering, for example through simpler processes, clearer presentation or new products. Currently offered: Grid Bot, Meme Radar, Prediction, Solana Bird, Swap, buy links, and Finchb Partner.

This whitepaper deliberately contains no roadmap with dates and no announcements of future features. Anything not yet offered may change before a possible launch or be dropped altogether. Describing it in advance would raise expectations that cannot be verified.

What is described is what is offered, not what might come.

A document that follows the offering

The whitepaper follows the offering. As soon as Finchb offers a new product, it is added to this document. If values change in an existing product, the document is updated with the current figures.

If a product is no longer offered, its description is removed from this document. The chapter “The Product Principle” describes which conditions continue to apply to active packages and positions when a product is discontinued or a value changes.

What the user relies on

What counts for a decision is what Finchb offers today and what the app displays before each purchase or deposit, not the expectation of a future feature. The user should therefore not deposit or buy anything on the assumption that a particular product or feature will be added later. The chapter “Vision and Core Principles” describes the principles by which Finchb operates today, the chapter “The Product Principle” how they apply to all products, and each product’s own chapter its details.

Languages and access

Finchb is available in German and English and detects the appropriate language automatically. This whitepaper is also available in both languages, with the same structure and the same current figures. Finchb runs in the browser without installation, can be added to the home screen as an app and offers light and dark themes; the chapter “The Wallet” describes the details. The chapter “Notes and References” lists the contact details.

Key terms in brief

Glossary

The glossary explains the most important terms used in this whitepaper in concise form. It is aimed at readers who have little experience with crypto assets so far, and it also serves as a reference for anyone who wants to place a term quickly while reading.

Each entry is self-contained and can be looked up on its own. General terms relating to the blockchain, the wallet and fees stand alongside terms that occur only in individual products; these product-specific entries appear only for as long as the respective product is offered. Each explanation summarizes what the detailed chapters describe and does not replace them. The values stated reflect the current offer, but the conditions that the app displays before the respective step always take precedence.

Payout
The transfer from a product back to the wallet to which the transaction is attributed, either automatically or with a click, depending on the product. During disruptions or maintenance, payouts may pause briefly. No balance is lost: automatic payouts and payouts already requested are processed afterwards, and a new payout by click is simply triggered again after the pause.
Blockchain
A public ledger in which the transactions of a network are recorded continuously. Finchb works with the Solana blockchain; transactions executed there are irreversible and visible to anyone.
Blockchain record
The public entry of a transaction on the Solana blockchain. On the public transactions page, a link leads to it; credits within a product are marked as internal and have no such link.
Deposit insurance
A statutory scheme that protects bank deposits if a bank fails. Balances in crypto assets are not covered by deposit insurance, including those in the Finchb wallet and products.
Collecting
Transferring the return from the pot to the balance of the game account in Solana Bird. What matters is collecting in time; collecting more often yields no additional return.
Stake
The amount that the user puts into a product. It is sent as a transfer from the user’s wallet as soon as the user confirms it in the app, and it forms the basis for the return, any deduction and, for some products, the fee as well.
Return
For products with fixed conditions, the amount that Finchb commits to paying on top of the stake. Its amount is set in advance; Finchb pays it from the earnings Finchb generates. It may be forfeited in the event of early termination.
External trading partner
The provider through which Swap exchanges crypto assets. It sets minimum and maximum amounts; its spread is included in the rate, which is displayed before confirmation and is valid only for a limited time.
Factor
The fixed multiplier of a package in Meme Radar, currently 2.0×: a return of 100% of the stake is added to the stake. The factor is set at the time of purchase and does not change during the term.
Maturity
The end of the term of a package in Meme Radar after 336 hours. Stake and return are then sent automatically and without a fee to the wallet from which the deposit came.
Buy provider
An external provider to which the buy page links. Purchase, payment, fees and identity verification take place entirely with that provider; Finchb is not a party to the purchase, earns nothing from it and sees no purchase data.
Account rent
A one-time amount that the Solana network requires when the recipient does not yet have a token account for a particular token. When sending from the wallet, the sender pays it; it is a requirement of the network and not a Finchb fee.
Term
The fixed period over which a package or position runs. The return applies to the entire term, not per year; if it is ended early, the return is forfeited.
Level
The upgrade stage in Solana Bird. Level 1 is free, level 2 costs 33 USDC (0.22 SOL in the SOL account), and from level 3 onward the game pays 3% per day of the total value of all levels purchased so far, provided the pot is collected in time. Purchases are final.
Network fee
The fee of around 0.000005 SOL that the Solana network charges per transaction. For deposits it is borne by the user, for payouts by Finchb, unless stated otherwise for the product.
Public transactions page
A list, accessible to anyone, of entries for the products on offer, showing type, amount, time and a masked wallet address of which only the first four and last four characters are visible.
On-chain
Executed directly on the blockchain and publicly verifiable there. The counterpart is a credit within a product; the public transactions page marks it as internal, without a link to a blockchain record.
Package
The unit in which deposits are made in Meme Radar: a stake of 0.01 SOL to 1,000 SOL or 1 USDC to 100,000 USDC. Factor, term and the deduction for an early exit are fixed at the time of purchase.
Partner code
The personal code or link that every account has for the partner program. Accounts newly created at Finchb through the link, including with a wallet imported into Finchb for the first time, are permanently attributed to the partner; an account that already exists at Finchb cannot be attributed later. The referred user pays nothing extra for this.
Pool
The sum of all stakes in a round of Prediction. After deduction of the fee of 1%, the remainder is divided among the users on the winning side in proportion to their stakes.
Position
A single deposit with a fixed term. The term and return are fixed when the position is opened and apply until it ends, even if the offer for new positions changes later. Several positions can run side by side.
Price oracle
The independent source from which Prediction obtains the opening and closing price of SOL against the US dollar. If it does not deliver a valid price, the round is canceled and the stakes are refunded without a fee.
Private key
The secret key that grants control over a wallet. After a fresh confirmation, the user can display and export it at any time; conversely, an existing wallet can be imported with its private key. It must never fall into the hands of others.
Commission
The amount that Finchb credits to a partner from its own funds for the activity of a referred user, determined per booking. It is paid out with a click from $5 per currency.
Round
A period of 5 minutes in Prediction for which a stake is placed on “up” or “down”. Stakes of 1 to 100,000 USDC always apply to the next round; acceptance closes 15 seconds before it starts.
Service fee
An amount that Finchb itself retains for a service, as distinct from the network fee. Sending and receiving in the wallet are free of it; an overview is provided in “Fees at a Glance”.
SOL
The native crypto asset of the Solana network, which is also used to pay network fees. Its price in euros or dollars fluctuates and can fall sharply.
Game account
One of two separate accounts in Solana Bird, one in USDC and one in SOL, which are never converted into one another. Each time the game starts, the player chooses which one to play with.
Daily rate
The share by which the balance in the Grid Bot grows each day, currently 1.03%. The return accrues to the second and is added to the balance every 24 hours. Finchb sets the daily rate in advance; a change applies from the time it takes effect, including to existing balances, never retroactively.
Token
A crypto asset issued on an existing network, such as USDC on Solana. For verified tokens the wallet shows prices and logos; others appear in a separate list.
Token-2022
A newer variant of the Solana token standard, which Finchb supports. Tokens with certain extensions, such as transfer fees or transfer locks, may be rejected.
Token account
The account that a wallet on the Solana network needs for each token it holds. If the recipient does not have one yet, the one-time account rent applies.
Pot
The place in Solana Bird where the return accumulates until it is collected. It fills only up to a cap per level; any time beyond that is lost.
USDC
A token intended to reflect the value of one US dollar. In Finchb, USDC is used as a token of the Solana network; for a direct deposit into the wallet, it must be sent via this network.
Early exit
Ending a package in Meme Radar before maturity. The user immediately receives 75% of the stake back, 25% is deducted, and the return is forfeited.
Wallet
The means of holding crypto assets on a blockchain, consisting of a public address and the associated private key. When an account is created with Finchb, a dedicated Solana wallet with twelve recovery words is generated.
Recovery words
Twelve words following a widely used standard, with which a wallet can be restored and used in other wallet apps. Finchb never asks for them by email or message.
Payment commitment
The commitment by Finchb to pay a return set in advance; Finchb pays it from the earnings Finchb generates. The values displayed when the user confirms the purchase or deposit apply; where Finchb can adjust a daily rate, a change applies only from the moment it takes effect and never retroactively. A payment commitment is not covered by deposit insurance.
Two-factor authentication
Optional additional protection for the account via an authenticator app. When it or the password is changed, the user receives a security email, provided an email address has been added.

Covered in full in the chapters

The glossary gives only a first overview. How a term works in detail, which opportunities and risks are associated with it and which values currently apply are described at length in the chapters on the wallet and the products and in “Fees at a Glance”.

Final notes

Notes and References

This whitepaper explains how Finchb and the products it offers work. In closing, it summarizes how the information is to be read, which risks accompany every use and where the binding rules are set out.

No investment advice

The whitepaper describes features, processes and conditions, but it is not investment or tax advice. Finchb advises neither on investment decisions nor on tax matters and makes no recommendation as to whether a product suits a particular user. Where the product chapters describe whom a product suits, they name typical cases and do not replace a personal assessment. The decision to hold crypto assets, to send them or to deposit them into a product is made by the user alone. The user should only put in amounts whose loss they can bear.

Commitments and conditions

Fixed returns in the products are payment commitments from Finchb; their amount is set in advance, and Finchb pays them from the earnings Finchb generates. The conditions in this document follow the current offering; values explicitly labeled as examples serve for illustration only. What always counts are the conditions that the app displays before every purchase and every deposit. “The Product Principle” describes how the conditions are fixed for each product, why changes never apply retroactively and what applies when a product is no longer offered.

What counts is what the app displays at the moment of confirmation.

Risks across all products

Anyone who holds crypto assets or uses the products takes on risks. The most important ones apply regardless of which product the user chooses and should be considered before every deposit:

  • Crypto assets can lose value sharply; the price of SOL can fall as well.
  • Transactions on the blockchain are irreversible; the user alone is responsible for the correct recipient address.
  • Balances are not covered by any deposit insurance.
  • Where a product pays a fixed return, it is a payment commitment from Finchb; whether it is met depends on Finchb.
  • During disruptions or maintenance, payouts may pause briefly. No balance is lost: automatic payouts and payouts already requested are processed afterwards, and a new payout by click is simply triggered again after the pause.

Check before every deposit

The specific risks of the individual products are described in the respective chapters of this whitepaper; the Risk Disclosure covers them in detail.

Further documents

The whitepaper explains; the binding rules are contained in the following documents. The Terms of Use set out the rights and obligations that apply when using Finchb, the Risk Disclosure describes the risks in detail, and the Privacy Policy explains which data is processed. Together with this whitepaper, they give the complete picture and should be read before the first deposit.

  • Terms of UseThe binding rules for the account, the wallet and the products offered.
  • Risk DisclosurePrice risks, the irreversibility of transactions and the risks of the individual products in detail.
  • Privacy PolicyWhich data Finchb processes and which it deliberately does not.

Contact

Questions about Finchb, about a product or about this document are answered by support at support@finchb.com. Finchb never asks for the recovery words, whether through support, by email or by message. “Security and User Protection” describes how the user protects the words and recognizes fraud attempts.
