Terms of Use
These terms govern the use of the Finchb wallet and all Finchb products. They apply to every page under finchb.com and to every use of the service, on whichever device.
Scope and definitions
Finchb is a web wallet for the Solana network with products under one roof. Finchb runs in the browser without installation and can be added to the home screen as an app; the interface is available in German and English. In these terms, the following words have the meaning given here:
- “Wallet”: the core application for viewing, sending and receiving balances on the Solana network.
- “Products”: the offers of Finchb built on top of the wallet, currently: Grid Bot, Meme Radar, Prediction, Solana Bird, Swap, buy links, and Finchb Partner.
- “Account”: a user’s access to Finchb together with the associated wallet.
- “Balance”: the assets assigned to an account in SOL, USDC or other tokens.
- “Commitment”: a payment commitment of Finchb whose amount is set in advance and which Finchb fulfills from the earnings Finchb generates.
By creating an account or using a product, the user accepts these terms. For the individual products, the conditions shown in the app before the respective purchase or deposit apply in addition. The Risk Disclosure and the Privacy Policy complement these terms.
Displayed conditions
The rates, factors, fees and amounts stated in these terms are the conditions currently set; worked examples are for illustration. The conditions shown in the app before the respective purchase or deposit always govern; active packages and positions keep the values locked in at purchase (see “Changes to conditions”).
Only products that are currently offered are described. New products are added to these terms as soon as they are offered.
The account
An account is created with one click and without an email address. An account created this way comes with a Solana wallet and twelve recovery words (see “Wallet and recovery words”).
The user can optionally add an email address with a password, which allows sign-in on other devices, and two-factor authentication with an authenticator app. Sensitive steps, in particular showing the recovery words, exporting the private key and changing the password, require a fresh confirmation. If an email address is on file, the user receives a security email on important account changes, such as a change of the password or of the two-factor authentication.
The user is responsible for keeping their credentials, their recovery words and their private key secret. Whoever knows the words or the private key can control the wallet. The user writes the words down offline, never shares them and enters them only in Finchb under finchb.com, never on other sites. Finchb never asks for the words by email or message.
Wallet and recovery words
A newly created account receives a Solana wallet with twelve recovery words. The words follow a common standard. The user can show and export the recovery words and the private key at any time after a fresh confirmation and can also use the wallet with them in other wallet apps. Likewise, the user can import an existing wallet at any time with its recovery words or its private key.
Transactions from the user’s wallet are executed only after the user has confirmed them in the app.
SOL, USDC and further SPL tokens, including Token-2022, are supported. Tokens with certain extensions, such as transfer fees or transfer locks, may be refused. Prices and logos are shown for verified tokens; other tokens appear in a separate list.
Sending, receiving and network fees
For receiving, a QR code is available for every address. Sending incurs the Solana network fee of about 0.000005 SOL; it goes to the network, not to Finchb. Finchb charges no service fee for sending and receiving, and using the wallet costs nothing beyond network fees. If the recipient does not yet have a token account for a token, the sender bears the network’s one-time account rent.
Blockchain transactions are irreversible; amounts sent cannot be recalled. The user is responsible for the correctness of the recipient address and checks it before every transfer.
Products in general
Every product is used from the Finchb account. Deposits into a product are on-chain transfers from the user’s wallet to Finchb, which the user confirms in the app. Payouts go back to the wallet assigned to the respective transaction; depending on the product, they are made automatically or by click (see “Payouts”).
Before every purchase and every deposit, the app shows the applicable conditions, in particular rates, factors and fees. The conditions shown at the time of purchase or deposit govern.
Fixed returns are payment commitments of Finchb. Their amount is set in advance; Finchb pays them from the earnings Finchb generates. The value of balances in euros or dollars can nevertheless fluctuate, because crypto assets can lose value sharply.
Grid Bot
The Grid Bot is a flexible balance in SOL with a fixed daily rate of currently 1.03%. The Grid Bot accepts SOL only; the minimum deposit is 0.01 SOL. There is no lock-up period.
The return accrues by the second from the on-chain confirmation of each deposit and is added to the balance every 24 hours, counted from the first deposit. Return that has been added earns a return itself from then on. At an unchanged daily rate, a balance of 10 SOL brings 0.103 SOL on the first day; 1 SOL grows to about 1.07 SOL, 1.36 SOL and 2.51 SOL after 7, 30 and 90 days.
The user can withdraw the balance in full or in part by click at any time. The withdrawal goes to the user’s active wallet and usually arrives within about a minute. The withdrawal fee of 1.5% and the network fee of 0.000005 SOL are deducted from every withdrawal amount. If 1 SOL is withdrawn in full after 30 days, the user receives about 1.34 SOL at an unchanged daily rate.
The daily rate is set in advance by Finchb; the return is a payment commitment of Finchb and is paid from the earnings Finchb generates. A change of the daily rate applies from the moment of the change, also to existing balances, but never retroactively.
Meme Radar
Meme Radar offers packages with a fixed term of currently 336 hours and a fixed factor of currently 2.0×, meaning repayment of the stake plus 100%. Packages are bought in SOL or USDC, each package for an amount of 0.01 SOL to 1,000 SOL or 1 USDC to 100,000 USDC. Factor, term and exit deduction are locked in for each package at purchase.
At maturity, the package is paid out automatically and without a fee to the wallet the deposit came from; no action by the user is required. Finchb bears the network fee of the payout, the buyer bears the network fee of the purchase, for USDC possibly including a one-time account rent for the token account. At maturity, 1 SOL becomes 2 SOL and 100 USDC become 200 USDC.
An early exit is possible at any time. The user then immediately receives 75% of the stake back; 25% of the stake is deducted, and the return is forfeited. For a stake of 1 SOL, 0.75 SOL is returned and the deduction is 0.25 SOL.
The return is a payment commitment of Finchb; its amount is fixed at purchase, and Finchb pays it from the earnings Finchb generates. For packages in SOL, the user bears the SOL price risk over the entire term. The offer may be sold out; new packages then cannot be bought for the time being. Existing packages remain unaffected.
Prediction
Prediction consists of rounds on the SOL/USD price on a fixed time grid; one round currently lasts 5 minutes. Stakes are possible in USDC only and amount to 1 to 100,000 USDC per bet. The user stakes on “up” or “down”, always on the next round; acceptance closes 15 seconds before the round starts.
The start price is fixed at the start of the round, the end price one round length later. The prices come from an independent price oracle. Every bet belongs to exactly one transfer and always to its actual sender.
Settlement follows the pool principle: a fee of 1% is retained from the sum of all stakes of a round; the remaining amount is distributed to the winning side in proportion to the stakes. The rule is: payout = stake × (pool − fee) ÷ sum of the winning side. The payout is made automatically to the wallet the stake came from. The stake of a lost round is lost in full.
Example: if a round holds 1,000 USDC, of which 600 USDC are on “up” and 400 USDC on “down”, the fee is 10 USDC and 990 USDC remain. If the price rises, a stake of 100 USDC on “up” receives 165 USDC, a profit of 65 USDC; if the price falls, the 100 USDC are lost. With a balanced pool, a winner receives about 1.98 times the stake.
- Price unchanged: all stakes of the round are refunded without a fee.
- No stakes on the winning side: all stakes of the round are refunded without a fee.
- Bet received after acceptance closed: the stake is refunded without a fee.
- No valid price available: the round is canceled, and all stakes are refunded without a fee.
- No stakes on the losing side: the winners receive their stake back minus the fee.
- Transfers outside the stake range are sent back from an amount of 0.01 USDC.
Solana Bird
Solana Bird is a game with real balances. Every user has two separate game accounts, one in USDC and one in SOL; they are never converted into each other. The player chooses at every start which game account to play with. The game contains no element of chance.
Level 1 is free. On this level, the pot fills only while actually playing, that is while the bird is flying, with at most about 1 USDC per day in the USDC account or 0.00667 SOL in the SOL account. Every collection is confirmed with a short check.
Higher levels are bought one at a time, in order, in the currency of the respective game account. Level 2 costs 33 USDC, in the SOL account 0.22 SOL at a reference rate shown in the game, and earns about 1 USDC per day, in the SOL account 0.00667 SOL. From level 2, the bird flies on its own; a check when collecting is then no longer required.
From level 3, the daily return is 3% of the total value of all levels bought so far. Each level thus pays for itself in about 33 days, provided the pot is collected in time. The return is a payment commitment of Finchb; the return rate can be adjusted going forward, never retroactively.
The pot fills up to a cap that corresponds to a set number of hours per level. Time beyond this cap is lost; collecting more often earns nothing extra. From level 2, buying the next level first collects the open pot. A return therefore arises only if the player collects the pot in time.
Level purchases are final: they are not refunded, and a level bought cannot be downgraded. If the player stops before a newly bought level has paid for itself, the purchase price may not be earned back.
Payouts are made on request in the game in real USDC or SOL to the player’s Finchb wallet and are possible from any level. The payout fee is currently 0%. During disruptions or maintenance, payouts may pause briefly. No balance is lost: payouts already requested are processed afterwards, and a new payout is simply requested again after the pause.
Swap
The Swap exchanges crypto assets through an external trading partner. Many crypto assets from other networks can be swapped into the wallet; they are credited to the user’s own Solana address. Out of the wallet, SOL is swapped to an external address the user enters. The exchange runs entirely through this trading partner.
The rate including the trading partner’s spread is shown before confirmation; the offer is valid for a limited time only. The trading partner sets minimum and maximum amounts per crypto asset. Some crypto assets additionally require a memo or “tag”; a refund address can optionally be given. The execution time depends on the trading partner and on the networks involved.
The Swap may be unavailable in some regions. Connection data is passed to the trading partner for its region check.
Buying through external providers
The buy page links to external providers. Purchase, payment with the respective provider’s payment methods, fees and identity checks take place entirely at the provider and under its terms. Finchb is not a party to the purchase contract, earns nothing from the purchase and receives no purchase data.
For the purchase, the user’s wallet address is copied for use at the provider. USDC must be sent on the Solana network. Before completing the purchase at the provider, the user checks that the address has been taken over completely and correctly.
Partner program
Every account receives a personal partner code and a partner link. Only accounts newly created at Finchb through a partner’s link are assigned to that partner, including with a wallet imported into Finchb for the first time; an account that already exists at Finchb cannot be assigned later. The assignment is permanent and covers one level. The referred friend suffers no disadvantage and pays nothing extra; Finchb pays the commissions from its own funds.
| Product | Commission | Example |
|---|---|---|
| Grid Bot | 0.1% per day on the friend’s balance | 10 SOL in the Grid Bot: 0.01 SOL per day |
| Meme Radar | 2.5% per package | Package of 100 USDC: 2.5 USDC |
| Prediction | 0.125% per settled bet, on wins and losses alike, not on refunds | Bet of 100 USDC: 0.125 USDC |
| Solana Bird | 3% per level purchase, per game account capped at the amount the friend actually deposited into the game | Purchase of level 2: 0.99 USDC |
Commissions are locked in per booking and credited in the currency of the respective purchase. A change of the commission rates applies to later purchases.
The payout is made by click from an equivalent of $5 per currency, with USDC valued 1:1 and SOL at the current price. The payout always covers the entire balance of the respective currency. The network fee is deducted, and on the first payout in USDC also the one-time cost of opening the USDC account.
Partners see their referred friends only under pseudonyms. Creating artificial accounts is prohibited (see “Acceptable use”).
Fees at a glance
The following overview summarizes the fees and deductions. Network fees for transfers from the user’s wallet go to the Solana network, not to Finchb. The amounts shown in the app before the respective purchase or deposit govern.
| Area | Fees and deductions |
|---|---|
| Sending and receiving | No service fee from Finchb; network fee of about 0.000005 SOL, where applicable the one-time account rent for a new token account of the recipient |
| Grid Bot | Withdrawal: 1.5% of the withdrawal amount plus a 0.000005 SOL network fee, both deducted from the withdrawal amount |
| Meme Radar | Purchase: the buyer bears the network fee, for USDC possibly the one-time account rent; maturity: no fee; early exit: deduction of 25% of the stake |
| Prediction | 1% of all stakes of a round; refunds are made without a fee |
| Solana Bird | Payout: 0%; level purchases are final |
| Swap | Rate of the external trading partner including its spread, shown before confirmation |
| Buying | Fees of the respective external provider under its terms; Finchb charges no fee |
| Partner program | Payout: network fee, on the first payout in USDC also the one-time cost of opening the USDC account |
Payouts
Payouts from the products go to the wallet assigned to the respective transaction. Depending on the product, they are made automatically or by the user’s click. Unless stated otherwise, Finchb bears the network fee of the payout.
| Product | Payout | Recipient |
|---|---|---|
| Grid Bot | By click, at any time, in full or in part; withdrawal fee and network fee are deducted | The user’s active wallet |
| Meme Radar | Automatically at maturity; early exit at any time with a deduction | The wallet the deposit came from |
| Prediction | Automatically after the round is settled | The wallet the stake came from |
| Solana Bird | On request in the game, in USDC or SOL | The player’s Finchb wallet |
| Partner program | By click from $5 per currency; the network fee is deducted | The user’s wallet |
During disruptions or maintenance, payouts may pause briefly; no balance is lost (see “Availability and pauses”).
Changes to conditions
Finchb may adjust rates, factors, fees, minimum and maximum amounts of deposits, packages, plans and stakes, and the range of plans and packages. Changes apply from the moment of the change and never retroactively; active packages and positions keep the values locked in at purchase. The applicable conditions are shown in the app before every purchase and every deposit.
For the Grid Bot, a changed daily rate applies from the moment of the change, also to existing balances, but never retroactively.
For Solana Bird, the return rate may be adjusted with effect for the future, never retroactively.
In the partner program, changed commission rates apply to later purchases; commissions already booked remain unchanged.
If a product is no longer offered, the conditions accepted at purchase continue to apply to active packages and positions.
Availability and pauses
The service is provided without a promise of uninterrupted availability. Maintenance and disruptions, including of external networks and services, are possible. During disruptions or maintenance, payouts of the products may pause briefly. No balance is lost: automatic payouts and payouts already requested are processed afterwards, and a new payout by click is simply triggered again after the pause.
Public records
Finchb publishes entries for the products offered on a public transactions page with kind, amount, time and a masked wallet address, of which only the first and the last four characters are visible. On-chain entries carry a link to the public blockchain record; credits within a product are marked as internal and have no such link.
In addition, a public Telegram channel posts entries with a link to the blockchain record and a receipt image. Anyone can check on-chain transactions independently on the Solana blockchain. Details on the data processed in this context are given in the Privacy Policy.
Risks
Crypto assets can lose value sharply; in particular, the price of SOL can fall. Blockchain transactions are irreversible. Balances are not covered by any deposit insurance. Fixed returns are payment commitments of Finchb. Finchb provides no investment or tax advice. The risks of the individual products are described in the Risk Disclosure.
Acceptable use
- No manipulation of the service and no exploitation of bugs; bugs discovered are to be reported to Finchb.
- No unauthorized automation and no circumvention of security checks.
- No abuse of the partner program, in particular no creation of artificial accounts.
- No use of the service for unlawful purposes.
In case of abuse, Finchb may restrict individual product functions.
Termination
The user can stop using the service at any time. Balances in the products are paid out under the rules of the respective product (see “Payouts”); the recovery words and the private key can be exported at any time. Finchb may discontinue individual products or the service as a whole. For active packages and positions, “Changes to conditions” applies.
Liability
The service is provided “as is”. Finchb is not liable for losses in the value of crypto assets, for the availability or behavior of external networks, providers and services, or for damage resulting from the user passing on credentials or recovery words. Mandatory statutory liability remains unaffected.
