Log in to Finchb with your words, your email or Telegram

In short

  • On the login page choose Log in with Telegram, your Secret words or Email & password.
  • Once you have added a password, log in with email and password: your words alone no longer open the account.
  • Forgot your password? Forgot your password? sends a link to your email that works once, for thirty minutes.

The ways to log in

Secret wordsYour 12 words (or 24 for an imported wallet), separated by spacesFor an account without a password.

If you added a password, Finchb says “This account is protected with a password. Log in with email and password instead.” when you try your words. That protects you if someone else gets hold of your words.

Forgot your password

  1. On the login page tap Forgot your password?.
  2. Enter the email you added to your account and tap Send reset link.
  3. Open the link in the email within thirty minutes and set a new password, at least ten characters.
  • The link works once. If it has expired, tap Request a new link.
  • A reset signs out all your devices and unlinks Telegram. Link it again afterwards under Settings → Telegram.
  • Two-factor sign-in stays on.
  • No email added? Then your words or Telegram are the way in. Lost access

If it doesn’t work

  • “We couldn’t find an account for these words.”

    Use the words your account was created with, in the right order, separated by spaces.

  • No reset email.

    Check your spam folder. The email only goes out if that address has a password on a Finchb account.

  • “This reset link is invalid or has expired.”

    Tap Request a new link and use the newest email.
